I would like to thank all of our membersand guests for a great season. I think wecan all agree that the weather wasabove average and helped Joc and ourmaintenance crew keep the golf coursein top notch condition for the entireseason. It’s hard to believe how well thecourse played this fall and it’s a shamethe snow has to come and put an end toall of our fun.
As many of you know, it wasn’t just abusy summer for me at the golf course.I got married in August and was luckyenough to go on a honeymoon. Thisdefinitely would not have been possiblewithout the great staff in both the golf
and food & beverage side of things. Itmade my season easier knowing I hadgreat staff to lean on. I am really excitedfor next season knowing that many ofthese great people will be back.
It was a real pleasure getting to knowmany of the members better and I lookforward to creating an even closer bondnext year. I encourage all of our mem-bers and guests to please approach meany time. I love to chat and appreciateany input you might have.
Hope you are all doing well and don’tforget to eat, drink, and be merry.
– Mike Bowen

As I write this we are enjoying someamazing fall weather. No snow yet!Wish this was the case every October. This weather was very welcome to getthe course put to bed and completemany fall cultural practices includingcore aeration of the entire golf course. The course will benefit greatly formthis necessary process.
First off I would like to thank my staff.David, Myles, Shelly and crew did awonderful job in all areas of thecourse this summer. Success is notpossible without these people and wereally appreciate how many of youtake the time to thank these people. We also thank you the golfer for yourpatients and understanding as wecontinue to move this golf course for-ward.
As you have seen, we have continuedto improve the golf course in a num-ber of a areas. We completing thepond, drainage improvements to #11 .We have and will continue improve-ments to turf quality, drainage, bunkersand, cart paths and course beautifica-tion. Hopefully the pine beetle staysaway and we don’t have to removeany more trees, so if you see a beetle,
tell him to bug off! We would greatlyappreciate it.
So, if we don’t see you till spring, Ihope everyone has a wonderful win-ter and look forward to seeing you inthe spring.
