A touch of the Mic key lets the usermute the terminal’s microphone,shutting off transmission from anoisy office or allowing them tohold a separate privateconversation. Pressing the Messagekey once enables voice mail to bechecked, and the user can scrollthrough a list of numbers stored inthe terminal simply by pressing theDirectory key.

The detachable key pad allowsyou to easily customize keys for aforeign language or an AutomaticCall Distribution application. Thenumbers and letters are even laserprinted to last longer.

Models incorporating an LCDpanel offer highly useful informationdisplay capability — three lines, atup to 24 characters per line.Volume Control adjustment cannow be monitored via the LCD,making adjustment easier.

More flexible and user-friendlyApproved for home use, DtermSeries i terminals give youremployees valuable mobility byfacilitating telecommuting. Add-on ModuleThe module is equipped with 60 programmable linekeys, each with a dual-color LED. These keys can beused as Direct Station keys, Feature keys or Line keys.

Analog Port Adapter (APA)This adapter provides an interface for installing single line telephones andmodems.* It enables calls to be initiated via a PC modem and switched tovoice operation if desired, and supports a maximum call speed of28.8kbps. Its ring detection capability enhances the value of connecting apersonal fax machine or answering machine to the Dterm Series i terminal.

Ancillary Device Adapter (ADA)The ADA makes possible direct connection between the Dterm Series iterminal and a recording device in order to record/log telephone calls. Theadapter also features dedicated input connectors for a recording tone unitwhich informs the parties involved that the call is being recorded. An ACadapter is not required for the ADA.

Computer Telephony Adapter (CTA)Connection between the Dterm Series i terminal and a desktop PC ispossible using the CTA. This allows users to operate Windows®-basedcomputer telephony applications such as ClientPhone 32.

IP Adapter (IPW)The IPW provides two 10/100Base-TEthernet ports for connection to a LocalArea Network (LAN), as well as a PCswitching hub for connecting theadapter and a PC.
