The Draft Political Manifesto of Adrian Paul Miles

I am in the process of publishing my Personal Manifesto as a Prospective Councillor and MP - 1. I stand for Human Rights, Welfare, Protection, Healthcare, Health and Quality of Life. 2. I stand for Animal Rights, Welfare, Protection, Veterinary Care, Health and Quality of Life. 3. I stand for the Poor, Mentally Ill, Physically Ill, Physically Disabled, Deaf, Dumb, Blind and Partially-Sighted, the Widow/Widower, Orphan, Socially Disadvantaged and Prisoner. 4. a. I stand for Political Reform. The current Political System is massively biased against the small to smallest Political Parties and also against Independent MPs. I therefore stand for a fair and logical form of Proportional Representation; I believe that where two Councillors receive similar numbers of Votes, both should be Elected as MPs; I do not agree with either reducing the number of MPs, nor significantly changing Constituency Boundaries. 4. b. I stand for 16 and 17 year olds to have the Right to Vote. 4. c. I stand for the Prisoners who currently have no Right to Vote; They are already serving their time for their Offences. They are still Citizens of our Country and they should be allowed to Vote (unless they are found Guilty of very serious crimes, such as Terrorism, Murder, Attempted Murder, Rape, Child Abuse, Torture and Serious Fraud.) 4. d. I stand for the Full Rehabilitation of Ex-Prisoners, with an Emphasis on Education and Apprenticeships. 4. e. I believe the current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) (previously known as a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check) - should be processed much faster, particular in regard to Care and Education Employment Positions. 5. a. I stand for Peace, Non-Violence, Pacifism and Conscientious Objection. 5. b. Because of my Religious Christian Beliefs, I do not feel it is right before God for either myself or other Christians to Fight Evil with Evil, but to try to overcome Evil with Good (nor for others with the same or similar Religious and Moral Values.) 5. c. I believe that everyone has the Right to Self-Defence and should be able to use Reasonable Force to Protect their Family, Friends or Pets. No Physical Aggression or Violence is used, except in Self-Defence. 5. d. I am unsure about a Nation taking Hostile action against another Nation, particularly when it is not in Self-Defence and certainly when it is Unprovoked. I believe Self-Defence should always be Directly Proportional to any Unprovoked Attack. 5. e. I believe Terrorism and Evil should be stopped whenever and wherever possible, preferably through Negotiation and Peaceful means. However, clearly there are some times where Direct Attacks and Air Strikes need to be made to Protect Countries and the World from both Terrorism and Hostile Take-Overs by other Countries and Militant Groups. 6. I stand for both the Creation and Improvement of National and International Laws on Online Bullying, Harassment and Defamation/Slander. 7. I stand for the Right for anyone to Defend either themselves or others against allegedly False

  • I am in the process of publishing my Personal Manifesto as a Prospective Councillor and MP -

They are still Citizens of our Country and they should be allowed to Vote (unless they are found Guilty of very serious crimes, such as Terrorism, Murder, Attempted Murder, Rape, Child Abuse, Torture and Serious Fraud.)

    5. b. Because of my Religious Christian Beliefs, I do not feel it is right before God for either myself or other Christians to Fight Evil with Evil, but to try to overcome Evil with Good (nor for others with the same or similar Religious and Moral Values.)

  • Accusations, Defamation and Slander and to be able to Fully Defend their Reputation in a Court of Law - and that Legal Aid must be given to all who cannot Afford to Defend either themselves or others against Defamation and Slander.

    8. I stand for Freedom of Speech and Writing, but this must be within Clearly Defined Boundaries that Exclude Incitement and Provocation and do not allow the Aggressive Ridiculing of others' Religious Beliefs.

    9. I stand for Education. That every Child and Teenager has a right to the best Education possible. That every Child and Teenager should be encouraged to both use and increase their talents. That every Child and Teenager should be Guided to enter Professions that suit both their Abilities and Character.

    10. I stand for genuine Charities and believe Governments should Support them where there is Genuine Need.

    11. I stand for the Support of all Volunteers and Carers. I believe all Carers should be exempt from Income Tax and Bedroom Tax and receive Full Housing Benefit, where appropriate.

    12. I stand for the National Health Service - that it must not either be Abused or taken Advantage of, yet be open to all British Citizens and - to a lesser extent - also to Immigrants, Foreigners and Tourists.

    13. a. I stand for the Natural Family Unit and Christian Morality. I believe Marriage is the Union of One Man with One Woman, thereby Creating the Family Unit, often becoming One Father and One Mother with Naturally-Conceived and Naturally-Born Children (and sometimes also through IVF, etc.) Largely because of my Biblical Christian Beliefs, I do not agree with either Gay or Lesbian Couples or Gay or Lesbian Singles either Fostering or Adopting, nor do I agree with either Gays or Lesbians having Unnatural or Artificially-Created Children.

    13. b. I believe Abortion should be only used in Exceptional Cases, such as Rape or the Clear Endangerment of the Mother's Life. Otherwise, Children should be brought up by their Mothers and/or Fathers - failing that, then their Immediate Family or, at worst, be put up for Fostering and Adoption.

    13. c. I believe the Fostering and Adoption Process needs to be less complicated and faster.

    13. d. I believe there must not be Bias and Discrimination according to a Prospective Fostering or Adoptive Couple's or Father's or Mother's Religious Persuasion, except where a clearly dangerous Cult is involved. I believe Children and Teenagers should be placed with Fosterers and Adoptive Parents of the Same or Similar Religious Beliefs. I believe Younger Children should not be overly Indoctrinated by their Parents. I believe Older Children and Teenagers must not have particular Religious Beliefs and Values imposed on them, particularly if they go against their Personal Religious Beliefs and Values.

    14. I believe that Voluntary Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide are reasonable choices for people to make. Each person is responsible for their own life. People should be able to choose when to end it, particularly when they are in acute pain, or their quality of life is almost zero. I do not believe people should be effectively forced to take their own lives in inhumane ways. More help and support should also be given to the Chronically Depressed or Distraught.

    15. I believe that Biblical/Koranic Creationism must be taught in all of our Schools, alongside

  • alternative theories. Our Country has a rich Tradition of Christian Belief and Practice and this must be allowed to continue.

    16. I believe that Children and Teenagers should be Taught Christian/Non-Radical Muslim Morality, within accepted Social and Religious Ethics.

    17. I believe that Children and Teenagers should be Taught how to Effectively and Wisely Deal with and Control their Personal Finances and Expenditure.

    18. I believe that the widening Disparity between Rich and Poor needs to be Reversed. Managing Directors and Directors should have their Salaries Capped in Direct Proportion to their Employees' Average Salary.

    19. I do not believe in a Minimum Wage, unless that Wage is also a Living Wage, Directly Proportional to the Cost of Living and Travelling in and to the area of Employment.

    20. a. Roads and Pavements - Cycling should be seriously encouraged by the Government. Cycling is proven to significantly reduce obesity levels and extend life expectancy. Creating many more Cycling Paths and Lanes should be a matter of priority.

    20. b. Roads and Pavements Kerb drops should be at all junctions, not just some. The reason for this is for the Accessibility and Safety of Cyclists, Wheelchair Users and Parents with Prams and Pushchairs.

(Whilst I don't expect everyone to agree with ALL of my Manifesto, I believe it is high-time for British Politics to get back to Supporting the Basics of a Quality of Life and Basic Christian Morality for All - to Care, Compassion, Kindness and Love - whilst being Tough on Serious Crime.)
