• THE DISTORTION FESTIVAL is the 2nd event in the annual series of metal events initiated by Cacophony networks in the year 2012.

• The popularity of Rock/ Metal genres amongst the Indian youth has depicted commendable growth in recent years.

• THE DISTORTION FESTIVAL is nothing but an effort by us to send them a message, translated in a language they speak, understand & appraise i.e.,

MUSIC. • This event will be a launch-pad to promote the upcoming budding talents on a

larger scale and to showcase their skills. • Concentrated Advertising to attract the Target

Presence The Youth especially from colleges roped in from concentrated and effective advertising would be the prime target. In a nut-shell, 18 – 30 years of age is going to be the target group. Media Personnel would be invited and would be presented the media kit. Press release would be issued to the media and they would be requested upon to publish it and showcase the fest.

Expected footfall – 3000+ “The figures depicted above may vary from the actual footfall in the event.”

. Event Page would be created. Sponsors would be awarded ample ad space.

. The artists would promote the bands.event amongst their fans and on their respective pages. . Regular Updates regarding the event would be posted to target the considered the audience. - Paid Facebook ads would be carried out to increase the event’s publicity and presence oN Facebook. Attendance would gain a considerably boost.

. The YouTube channel would showcase jamming videos and interviews of the artists and also behind the scenes footage of the event. Sponsors would be promoted through the av’s.

Past Event - PANDEMONIUM Our Very first event, Pandemonium – The Uprising was a very huge success both online and offline. Hosted at Café Morrison on the 9th December 2012, a crowd of over 300 strong attended the ‘underground’ metal mayhem unleashed by the line-ups for the night. Past Event – METANOIA’13 METANOIA’13 , OUR 2ND event, was Again a very huge success both online and offline with an amazing sound setup. Hosted also at Café Morrison on the 3rd march 2013, a crowd of over 300 strong attended the comeback gig of “FREQUENCY”, DELHI BASED ELECTRONIC ROCK/METAL BAND. Future Endeavors Cacophony Networks looks this as a kick start to a countrywide tour with an aim of bringing out bands in Tier-2 Cities like Jaipur, Lucknow etc. Your association is going to be an excellent way to reach out to these cities which are fast becoming metro cities in their own ways.
