and hardware) with an increasing amount of dependencies• Preserving Digital Content is about understanding these
dependencies and take action to assure or repair future access and rendering
• There are no products and services in the market that fulfill fundamental requirements of memory institutes for assuring long term access to digital content
• Memory institutes need to access to skilled staff and experts with deep understanding of a wide range of technologies and an ability to act on issues caused by new publishing technologies. Respond, mitigate issues and take informed decisions about introduction of new technology challenges
