Fees: No one is denied services for financial reasons Most insurances accepted Sliding scale fee for non- reimbursable services Since 1999, the Diabetes Health Center’s (DHC) credentialed healthcare professionals have been teaching people the skills they need for diabetes prevention and disease self-management to reduce the risk of complications and improve coping skills for living with diabetes and enjoying good quality of life At the DHC, a bilingual staff of healthcare professionals place patients at the center of a team that includes a Registered Nurse and Registered Dieticians certified to teach diabetes self-management. They work closely with primary care clinicians, providing sound health and dietary guidance aimed to enhance health and well-being. The DHC is accredited by the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE). Desde 1999, las profesionales del Centro de Diabetes les han enseñado a personas la técnica de prevención y autocontrol de la diabetes para reducir el riesgo de las complicaciones y mejorar la habilidad y
