Educational Objectives: 1) To provide an overview of the background behind use of lower limb robotics for children with cerebral palsy and the hypothesize link with neuroplasticity; 2) To summarize what we know so far about effectiveness of the Lokomat robotic gait trainer in children with CP; 3) To share our experience in using the Lokomat in our current RCT evaluating of Lokomat versus functional gait-based physiotherapy in children with CP ages 5 to 12 years (lived experience, no results until Spring 2015); 4) To discuss future directions for Lokomat clinical use and research in paediatrics.

Objectifs d’apprentissage: 1) Comprendre l’impact de l'autisme dans les pays à revenu faible et moyen; 2) Comprendre le processus d'élaboration d'une intervention fondée sur des données probantes axée sur la communication entre les parents et l’enfant touché par l'autisme en Inde; 3) Comprendre les obstacles à l'expansion des soins dans le contexte mondial et comment ceux-ci pourraient être abordés. Educational Objectives: 1) Understand the burden of autism in low and middle income countries; 2) Learn about the process of adapting an evidence based parent mediated communication intervention for autism in India; 3) Understand the barriers to scaling up care in the global context and how these might be addressed.
