Abstract: EL Zakat plays an essential role in promoting economic
development in society, through its distinctive characteristics that serve achieve the of economic development objectives and its various requirements. On the other hand, it raisesawareness of all social levels, individuals institutions. And State of the importance of the development process in and raising the economic level and the elimination of the underdevelopment in allau its various forms, thets it is said that el Zakat isvery relevant to development, to the extent that it can be asserted that Zakat is the basis of economic development as it is the best tool to move deactivated capital, and encourage optimal exploitation to Economic resources, and their use in a manner that stimulates the economic mobility in society, whether at the level of macroeconomic or microeconomic level, which would make this tool excellently a huge financial resource renewable year after year contributes to the financing of development in all its Different dimensions .
