Age According to the questionnaire that we conducted on

many people, we found out Conor Maynard’s target audience and who we would aim the music video at mainly. We found out that most of the people that have heard of Can’t say no and Conor Maynard is between the ages of 15 to 19 and the mean age is 19. Therefore his target market/ demographic are lower than the age of 19.

In this video for Vegas Girl and Can’t Say No it shows Conor in front of graffiti. Graffiti normally represents youth

and the HipHop culture. It represents youth because youths are stereotypically presented as delinquents and criminals in the media and therefore may appeal to a young fan base

who normally hang out in these types of areas.

Race

Also the race of the people that we asked that liked the song and Conor Maynard were of either Indian or a white background. However because the questionnaire was done in stanmore college and therefore wasn’t very ethnocentric.

Gender• Out of all the people that we asked, out

of the 30 people that said they liked the song, 21 of them were female. Therefore his main target audience would have to be females.

• A lot of pop is based of emotion and feelings and women can express themselves through pop music

‘Everything a girl needs for just £48’ – This also indicates that Conor’s audience is mainly women as he appeared on the front cover of the magazine.

conducted, my target market would most likely be…

• Be between middle school and college

• Mostly be females

• Listen to music often

• Go to POP gigs

• Like make up (SHOUT magazine give free make up out in their magazines)

• Be either Asian on White

• Wear clothes that are usually in fashion at that particular time.

• Goes on websites such as Facebook and Twitter
