Now entering its 7th year in Ireland, the awards recognise indigenous Irish companies across the island of Ireland which are operating at the highest levels of business performance. The programme identifies how companies are mastering their growth strategies across all key management functions and is unique in the way in which it recognizes the efforts of the entire organisation, not just one individual.

The programme was launched in Ireland in 2008 following the success of the Best Managed Companies Programme in Canada, where it has been running successfully since 1993 and is the country’s leading business awards programme.

An independent judging panel reviews a broad range of criteria under the headings of strategy, capability, commitment and financial performance.

We recognise that business and management success can no longer simply be measured by increased sales, profit or turnover and for that reason a holistic view of the companies, their performance in relation to their peers and the industries that they are operating in is considered in order to determine management success.

The programme is open to eligible companies from all 32 counties on the island of Ireland and there are benefits to all companies entering the programme, not just the winners. We invite you and your company to enter the programme today. Simply log on to deloittebestmanaged.ie and if you require further information, either I or a member of the team would be delighted to talk to you.
