If you are interested in the growing field of health care, have a desire to help others and are looking for a great career opportunity, visit our website at www.rushu.rush.edu/health or call 312.942.1721 to learn more about our upcoming information sessions.

Rush is a not-for-profit health care, education and research enterprise comprising Rush University Medical Center, Rush University, Rush Oak Park Hospital and Rush Health.

Learn to perform hundreds of diagnostic studies to identify disease states and conditions. Medical laboratory scientists generate as much as 70 percent of the data found in a patient’s medical record. Without a doubt, they are critical members of the health care team.

Our graduates learn and apply scientific principles to prevent, identify and treat acute or chronic dysfunction of the cardiopulmonary system.

The Physician Assistant Studies program at Rush University combines traditional course work with advanced practice clinical experiences to prepare highly trained, primary-care physicians’ assistants – one of the most sought-after health care professions in the United States.

Rush University’s Master of Science in Research Administration program will prepare you for leadership roles in all areas of research administration. Develop core competencies needed for practice as a research manager and complete an investigational research project suitable for publication in an academic journal.

Whether your professional goal is to transform lives through practice, research, service or leadership, the College of Health Sciences at Rush University can help you secure a rewarding future. We have 20 degree and certificate options that span the most in-demand health care specialties.

PICTORIALSPictorial images are generally known to exploit the graphic or

aesthetic qualities of the subject with emphasis on composition. Below are some of the top pictorials from this school year.

1. The evening light shining on fans at Memorial Stadium is seen in the reflection of a sousaphone during the halftime performance of the game against Minnesota on Nov. 10.2. Wedge Bar in Champaign has over 120 types of tequilas to choose from, including the Gran Corralejo Añejo, center.3. Joseph Jessee, night shift delivery driver for Fat Sandwich and Parkland student, delivers a sandwich to ISR on Nov. 28.4. Matt Bollant, head coach of Illini women’s basketball, talks to the media about the future of State Farm Center after a news conference at the State Farm Center on April 29.5. Daniel Almquist, freshman in Engineering, composes a photograph of the Illini Union on a foggy Jan. 28 evening. He has been taking photos for quite some time now and takes photos when he gets a good opportunity. “The fog is so surreal. I just love how cool this looks,” Almquist said. He doesn’t get to photograph in January because of the cold, and Monday evening’s temperature of 51 degrees allowed him to do some nature photography, which he likes.
