Prague Castle - the Kings of Bohemia and presidents of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic have had their offices. The Bohemian Crown Jewels are kept here.

Charles Bridge

Charles Bridge was built in 1357 during the rule of King Charles IV. The bridge is 516 meters long and nearly 10 meters wide.

Castles

Karlštejn castle was founded in 1348 by Czech King and the Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV. It was a place for keeping the royal treasures. It was built in the Gothic style.

Hluboká Chateau was founded in the middle of 13th century by the Kings of Bohemia. Originally it was built in the Gothic style but later it was rebuilt in the Renaissance style.

TownsTowns

The town Karlovy Vary was founded in 14th century by Czech King Charles IV. It has 53 907 inhabitants.

Karlovy Vary is the most famous spa town in the Czech republic. It is well known for the International Film Festival.

Telč was founded in 14th century. It has 5732 inhabitants. Its town square is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There is also a beautiful Gothic castle.

Nature

The Bohemian forest extends from South Bohemia in the Czech Republic to Austria and Bavaria in Germany. Towns in this region are e.g. Vimperk, Strakonice, Železná Ruda and Prachatice.

The Adršpach-Teplice Rocks are situated in northeastern Bohemia. In this region we can find these towns: Teplice nad Metují, Adršpach, Malé Svatoňovice and Broumov.
