THE COWBOY RIDES AWAY Introducing Garrison Brothers Cowboy Bourbon After a suspicious disappearance, Garrison Brothers Cowboy Bourbon, the American Micro Whiskey of the Year in Jim Murray’s 2014 Whiskey Bible, will be returning in the summer of 2015. This time The Cowboy has some stories to tell. COWBOY HISTORY Garrison Brothers Distillery introduced Texans to a remarkable straight bourbon whiskey in 2013. The bourbon was stolen from Dan Garrison’s ten favorite barrels from three different cooperages. Each barrel was unique. The barrels were set-aside in 2010 and hotbox-matured for three years. The bourbon was bottled and released in May of 2013. The entire release of just 600 tiny 375ml bottles sold out instantly. We held back one bottle and mailed it to Jim Murray, publisher of the world’s leading whiskey guide, The Whiskey Bible. Mr. Murray tastes more than 5,000 whiskies every year and writes eloquent, seasoned reviews of each brand. He named Garrison Brothers Cowboy Bourbon “The American Micro Whiskey of The Year” and gave it a 96 score, the second highest score ever assigned to a bourbon whiskey. According to Mr. Murray, “This has, and make no mistake, raised the bar for bourbon made by micro distillers; it is truly world class.” ABOUT THE BOURBON The proud men and women at Garrison Brothers Distillery knew our 2013 release of Garrison Brothers Cowboy Bourbon was good. But it wasn’t good enough for us. So, in 2015 we’re going to raise the bar a little higher. First, we’re going to offer more. This year’s release will be 5,200 bottles. Second, we’re going to let buyers drink more. This release will be 750 ml- sized bottles but it will be priced only slightly higher than it was in 2013. Third, we’re going to make it older. Every barrel used in this release was four years’ old -- the oldest bourbon whiskey ever made in Texas. Finally, it will be barrel proof. Straight from the barrel. Unfiltered. Uncut. 135 proof! Each bottle is housed in a rugged, custom-built white American oak gift box lined with deerskin, branded with the Garrison Brothers brand. Each bottle is hand-signed and numbered by master distiller Donnis Todd. Dan Garrison’s signature is on the back of the wooden box.

THE COWBOY RIDES AWAYIntroducing Garrison Brothers Cowboy Bourbon

After a suspicious disappearance, Garrison Brothers Cowboy Bourbon, the American Micro Whiskey of the Year in Jim Murray’s 2014 Whiskey Bible, will be returning in the summer of 2015.

This time The Cowboy has some stories to tell.

sized bottles but it will be priced only slightly higher than it was in 2013. ✯ Third, we’re going to make it older. Every barrel used in this release was

What Jim Murray Had to Say About Garrison Brothers Cowboy Bourbon…Score 96 – “Superstar whiskies that give us all a reason to live”

“I always know when I have a truly great whisky on my hands; it takes every ounce of my professionalism to spit it out! This has, and make no mistake, raised the bar for bourbon made by the micro distillers; it is truly world class, three year old or not. In fact the name is a misnomer; there are no cowboys at work here. This is damned tootin’ fine whiskey. Yessiree.”

HOW TO GET A BOTTLEYour best bet is to find a liquor retailer who already sells Garrison Brothers Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey and let them know you want a bottle. You might have to play a little hard ball.

Most Garrison Brothers Cowboy Bourbon bottles will be sold in Texas. Around here, “you dance with the one who brung ya.” Our fellow Texans have made this business what it is today, so they get first choice.

Anticipating this release, many liquor stores have already started customer wait-lists. They typically set aside special bottles like these for their hard-core bourbon enthusiasts.

If you own a bar, restaurant or hotel, you probably already know the game. Get with your wholesaler and let them know how many bottles you want.

We anticipate that the bourbon, if it isn’t hijacked along the way, will reach our distributors’ warehouses in August and slowly ride out to stores over the next month.

PRICING AND PACKAGING ✯ Around the country, our distributor’s average wholesale price

for a bottle is roughly $149.99 but that price will differ slightly from state to state due to taxes and shipping costs.

✯ The suggested retail price for these rare bottles is $199.99. ✯ The individual package has a unique bar code: 8 5175600212 7. ✯ The six-pack shipping cartons that protect the handsome wooden

boxes have a unique bar code as well: 10851756002124. ✯ The individual bottles are housed in a rugged white American oak

box lined with deerskin. Each box features a booklet chronicling the history of Texas, cowboys and whiskey.

✯ The individual boxes are shipped in a six-bottle carton that measures 12" high by 10" deep by 12" wide, which weighs 24 lbs.

Kind regards,

Dan Garrison
