We offer 03 air-conditioned luxury rooms. The bedrooms at The Country Retreat are luxury en-suit rooms refurbished to highest standard offering indulgence and comfort. The rooms are brimming with artefacts cleverly displayed in their original settings. The rooms are stirred with regal touch to experience the quintessence of Rajasthan. As unique in character as they are diverse in style, we have rooms to suit everybody.

DININGWe offer a lovely breakfast menu from the Traditional Indian to Continental breakfast made with local produce. Every day we prepare a fantastic feast that includes everything from appetizer to desert. We serve food to our guests on fixed menu basis. With dining options at our indoor and outdoor lounge, guests can also indulge into candle light alfresco dinner or farm breakfast. Special arrangements can be done for dinners on a Full moon night. Though we do not have a commercial bar in the property, however we offer our guests selection of liquors from our personal collection.

SONAGIRI FORT & TOPKHANA Location Jalore Distance 45 Kms Driving Time 75 Mins Description:

Fort: This fort was one of the 9 fortresses established by the Paramaras during 10th century. Referred to as the ‘Sonagir’ or ‘Golden Mount’. It is believed to be constructed between 8th and 10th centuries. Jalore fort is balanced on the top of a sheer and vertical mount and is constructed in accordance with long-established Hindu architecture. 

Topkhana: The cannon foundry or Topkhana is the vital structure that was established in the 14th century by “Ala-ud-din Khilji”. It is situated in the middle of the town. There are are left remains of a grand Sanskrit school and a temple of king Bhoj times that after passage of several centuries it speaks of its grandeur itself.

FALNA GOLDEN TEMPLE

Location: Jawai Dam Distance 30 Kms Driving Time: 40 Mins Description: This is the biggest

dam in the western Rajasthan. One can see sarus cranes, comb duck, spotbill duck in the dam. During the winter, demmossile, common eastern crane, barheaded geese and migrating birds descent on the water. It is a great spot for crocodile watching.

JAWAI DAM

Location: Falna Distance: 32 Kms Driving Time: 40 Mins Description: The main attraction of

the temple is that its entire structure, including all the walls, roofs, pillars, doors, windows, steps, domes and shikhar are all painted with thick layer of gold. The temple was built with 100 kg of gold donated by the Jain temple community of Falna.

RANAKPUR JAIN TEMPLE

Location: Kumbhalgarh Distance: 110 Km Driving Time : 2.5 Hr Description:  Built on a hilltop

1100 metres above sea level, the fort of Kumbhalgarh has perimeter walls that extend 36 kilometres. The frontal walls are fifteen feet thick. Kumbhalgarh has seven fortified gateways. There are over 360 temples within the fort, 300 ancient Jain and the rest Hindu.

Placed on a lofty plinth, the three-storeyed marble edifice.

The farm belongs to Thakursaab Prithvi Singh Ji Champawat of Bankli and is managed by his sons, Hitpal & Krishnapal. Champawat is a clan of Rathore dynasty & traces its lineage back to Rama, the mythical hero of the Hindu epic Ramayana. You will be surrounded by enough history to step into the old world charm. During the stay the guests gets an opportunity to learn about the family history. Your host would be more than delighted to share with you talks on culture & history of the local area.
