ii. How to use the guide
The purpose of this guide is to help teachers become familiar with Google Drive. Hopefully it will help teachers begin considering how it could be used within the classroom and with their everyday work as a teacher.
The guide contains pictorial instructions as well as video tutorials from the Corbettmaths channel on YouTube and the Corbettmaths website. The QR codes when scanned will bring you directly to the video.
The browser used in the pictorial instructions is Google Chrome. In the majority of the videos Google Chrome is used. A few of the videos use Safari.
I have assumed the reader has already signed up for Google Drive.

3. Creating and editing a Document Google Drive has it’s own word processing software called “Document.”
A fantastic beneRit of Document is that the user can create and edit documents on any machine without needing any software installed. There is also no need for memory sticks as the Riles are automatically saved and can be accessed anywhere.

6. Creating and editing a Form (Survey/Homework) This is perhaps my favourite part of Google Drive. You can create a ‘Form’ or as I like to call it, a survey or a homework, that students or colleagues can complete.
The Form can contain a wide range of styles of questions and also can include pictures or even videos embedded within it.
I use Google Forms with every Flipped Lesson to allow me to see when students have watched the video and they also answer a few questions to allow me to check their understanding.
