Garinger friendly garden

My introduction• Hi, my name is Rajbir Rai. I came from the city

of Jhapa Nepal. I have lived here for 1 year and six months. I speak Nepali and English. I’m trying my best to speak perfect English. I would be the first son from my family to graduate high school and go to college.

With Ms. MabeInside the Garinger greenhouse learning to plant the Swiss chard.Ms. Mabe was there to lead us.

Working together to make a garden bed.

This is me working in a bed to plant onions.

Here in this picture my friends are working hard and helping each other. It was the good season to plant

Swiss Chard.

This photo was taken during the harvesting season. Me (front) and Ms. Mabe and my friends were there to harvest

watermelon and Swiss Chard.

Washing Swiss Chard after harvesting.

My friends were eating watermelon after we were done harvesting.

After the completion of volunteering in the greenhouse garden, we took this picture to remember that day.

conclusion I have enjoyed volunteering in the Garinger

greenhouse garden. I took lots of vegetables from there and learned basic knowledge about the plants and seasons. It was great time for me to serve in a garden. I plan to help other students who don’t know about the greenhouse garden to give basic knowledge about planting, seasons, and harvesting that I had learned from there.
