The Color Run India™, presented by Your Health First, also known as the Happiest 5k on the Planet, is a unique paint race that celebrates healthiness, happiness, individuality, and giving back to the community.

Less about your 10-minute-mile and more about having the time of your life, The Color Run India™ 5k is a five-kilometer, un-timed race in which thousands of participants are doused from head to toe in different colors at each kilometer. The fun continues at the finish line with a gigantic “Color Festival,” using more colored powder to create happiness and lasting memories, not to mention millions of vivid color combinations. Instead, the thousands of participants are covered from head to toe in different color at each kilometer before joining the epic “The Color Run India™” at the finish line where they get to throw some serious shapes on the dance floor, as well as more color! Our colored powder creates lasting memories, the cheesiest of smiles and millions of vivid color combinations. The untimed event has no winners or prizes, but runners are showered with colored powder, made of food-grade corn starch, at stations along the run.

Event Details

This is the central area of the event where all our pre and post run entertainment kicks off. The Start Line and Finish Line is closely located to The Center and therefore it will be the area you usually enter before you start the run and also where you will end up when you finish the run.

The River front is the place to be and will be filled with our sponsors, food vendors, our merchandise store and stage!! of course the stage is where our pre-event ZUMBA warm up kicks off and where our TCRI Finish Festival takes place.

This area is open to the general public so spectators are welcome to come along & wait for their beautiful friends and family to complete the run.

How the event worksThe Color Run India™ event is a one of a kind experience that is less about speed and more about enjoying a color-crazy day with your friends and family. We love to see 'Color Runners' of all different speeds, ages, shapes, and sizes toeing the start line. Whether you are a casual Sunday morning walker or an Olympic athlete, the 3 miles of The Color Run India™ course will be the most enjoyable 3 miles you’ve travelled in a VERY long time. The fun continues after Color Runners complete the race with an unforgettable Finish Festival. This larger than life party is equipped with music, dancing and massive color throws, which create millions of vivid color combinations. Trust us, this is the best post-5k party on the planet! Color Zones You will pass through at least 5 Color Zones on

course! Our Color Zones will be either Pink, Peach Orange,

Blue, Yellow, Purple or Green – check out the course map on your event detail page to find out what Color Zones you’ll be crossing!

The color is 100% natural, food dyed, food grade corn-starch.

We suggest wearing a bandanna, glasses or goggles if you are concerned about the color entering your mouth or eyes.

  The Start The Start Chute opens 10 minutes prior to the

run. Waves of approx. 500 participants will start the

run every 3-6 minutes. Be sure to enter the Start Chute with the people

you wish to run with! The Start Chute will only remain open

for approx. 30-45 minutes from when the run starts.  Therefore, make sure you check out your city’s event page to see what time you need to arrive to gain entry to the course!

EntertainmentThe entertainment at Color Festival creates an atmosphere of joy and color. From contemporary music to traditional dancing, you'll be carried away in the celebration of life, music, and culture.

ColorsThe colors used are plant-based, non-toxic, and environmentally-friendly. Made from food-grade cornstarch, you could even eat them (not that we suggest that!). All these are toxic and can give people skin allergies, irritated nose or lungs and eye irritation. It´s not only unhealthy for people and animals, also for the environment it’s pollution.

Why we only use eco-friendly Colors? Because “The Color Run India™” is more fun and harmless with organic Colors. Enjoy the natural colors for Run and don’t worry about skin allergies, irritation or pollution! Make your color run, festival and event success full with our eco-friendly Colors.

Color ThrowsEvery 15 minutes, we will countdown to a mass Color Throw. This creates the infamous Color Cloud. Join us as we welcome all Color Runners to the finish Festival. Everyone throwing colors into the air at the same time creates a spectacular sight. This is where you’ll want to use the color pack you received as you crossed the finish line.

Hopefully you were able to resist throwing it for this long. Trust us, it’s worth the wait. If you have used, lost or forgotten your personal Color Pack (handed to you at the finish line), or would like to purchase additional color, we will have a limited quantity for sale at the Festival! First come, first served! Cash only please.

The Finish Festival The Finish Festival is the place to burn even

more calories! We’ll have a DJ, music and INCREDDDDIBLE Color Throws happening here – trust us this is the BEST post 5k party on the planet!

  As you cross the Finish Line, you will be given a

color packet. Make sure you hang onto it and take it to the stage for a Color Throw! Additional color can be purchased,

  Our Cleaning Zone is located right near the

Finish Festival and our Color Blowers will do their best to help clean off any excess color!

The Course The run is approximately a 5km looped course The course will be where

our AHHHHMAZING Color Zones are located There will be a water station around the half-

way point of the course to keep you hydrated. Water stations will also be located at Ahmedabad.

This is your time to sparkle and is the area you absolutely MUST show us your dance moves, skipping technique, slow walk/fast walk, running speed or rolling abilities! (Basically – you don’t need to run the full 5k if you’re not up to it – it’s all about having FUN!). 22

The Color Run India 5K strives to have dedicated Pediatric cardiac surgery unit, providing leadership and excellence in the care of infants and children with congenital and acquired heart diseases.

Proposed Cardiac Unit will equipped with• A dedicated cardiac Cathlab for Pediatrics neonates• Two dedicated cardiac operation theaters• A 12 bedded cardiac NICU for recovery• A 12 bedded cardiac PICU for recovery

RationaleAt The Color Run India 5K, every year more than 300 children with cardiac illness are referred to other Government aided and private hospitals.

Over 3000 non affording children with cardiac illness are in waiting list of some of largest government hospitals of Ahmedabad. Not all parents can afford expensive treatment offered by private hospitals.
