Bodily system made up of the heart,blood vessels and blood
HEART: the muscolar organ that pumps blood around the body.
BLOOD VESSELS: the part of the circulatory system that transports blood throughout the uman body.
BLOOD: a red liquid tissue, is pumped to all the parts of the body.

For find it we use the “sphygmomanometer ” that it’s a digital blood pressure monitor. With this strument we can know the “diastolic pressure”(when the heart relaxes) and “systolic pressure”(when the heart contracts). These are our blood pressures:
• How can you find your pulse points?
• For feel the blood pumping you can put 2 fingers or on your neck (carotid pulse),or on your wrist (radial pulse).
• Afterthat you count how many beats in 15 seconds ,then you multiply your score by 4 and so you find your pulse rate per minute.

RED BLOOD CELLS: they’re disk-shaped cells. They have no nucleus, and their cytoplasm is filled with hemoglobin that binds oxigen and carbon dioxide.
WHITE BLOOD CELLS: they have clearly defined nucleus, for example they release antibodies.
PLATELETS: they are small fragments cell, they are components of the blood coagulation.

During this science project we saw some slides about the circulatory system, we played memory about the circulatory system’s words and also we drew a big heart in the school’s countryard with some chalks. Afterthat we walked into the heart and in the other parts of circulatory sysyem.
In this video we’re walking into the heart, that Elda and Duccio drew before. Into the video we have 2 t-shirts (blue and red), blue = blood + carbon dioxide and red = blood + oxigen.
