Dear friends,
I have great News to share with you. Public Masses begin Friday, June 12, 2020, with a limited schedule and some re-strictions.
Restrictions/Noticeable Differences: Bring a mask which you must wear during the entire Mass. You may enter the church through the parking lot doors or the narthex doors. Practice social distancing at all times, keeping 6 feet be-tween persons (or family groups).Once you are inside, please use hand sanitizer. There will be a basket at the check in stand for your enve-lope (the collection will not be taken up). Please do not touch anything around the church (e.g., there are no candles to light)Follow the instructions of the hospitality minister and proceed directly to the next available seat. You will not be able to choose your seat.Only one family is permitted in the elevator at one time. There are no missalettes in the pews; you may use elec-tronic devices to follow the readings. Please refrain from singing, as this action has proven to further spread saliva droplets.
Communion will be distributed AFTER the final blessing. Pay attention to the markings on the floor and maintain 6 feet between persons in the Communion line. For the safety of all, we ask everyone to receive Holy Communion in the hand. Please follow the direction of the ushers and volunteers. When you reach the Communion station, remove your mask, bow, consume the host, and move off to the side to replace your mask.Exit via the back stairwell to the parking lot or the Finley Avenue doors and return to your vehicles.
Public Masses with a Congregation: Weekdays in the Chapel beginning Friday, June 12, 2020, Mondays, 7:00 am; Tuesday - Friday, 7:00 am & 8:00 am and Saturday, 8:00 am
Weekend Masses beginning Saturday, June 13, 2020, at 5:30 pm and on Sundays at 12:00 Noon. (seating will be limited to 250 people in the church)
Livestream Mass will remain in effect at 9:00 am with Com-munion being distributed in the parking lot.
Beginning June 20, 2020, Confessions will be heard in the chapel from 8:30 -9:00 am. (June 13 remains 11 am—12 pm)
The new Mass schedule will remain in effect until further no-tice. I will be updating you regularly through emails.
Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of Creation.
Msgr. Cronin
