Faith Lutheran Youth (FLY) News – Our Service

Today

Thank you to everyone who made this Youth

Sunday possible – most especially our youth who

helped to lead the service and also those who

served as musicians! Our theme today on this

Second Sunday of Advent is PEACE. You will

notice many connections throughout the service in

word and prayer to this message of God’s peace.

We hope you find the service enjoyable,

meaningful and a blessing to you this week and in

the weeks to come as we wait and prepare for the

coming of the Messiah.

Coffee Hour

FLY is sponsoring today’s Coffee Hour

immediately after our service. We welcome all to

stay for a time of fellowship, food and drink. Any

donations received at the Coffee Hour station

today will go toward our next mission trip -

Denver 2020

Senior High FLY Gathering

Senior High FLY (Grades 9-12) will be gathering

today after worship in the Youth Room.

FLY Gathering – The Advent Event

Middle School and High School youth will be

gathering together for a special time on December

18 beginning with supper at 6 PM. The Advent

Event will be a very special evening of learning,

music, worship, reflection and prayer where we

recognize the season of Advent as teenagers and

take a few moments to slow down, to be quiet

and to know that Christ’s light is in all of us

through joy, hope, love and peace.

All members, please fill out a communion card once a year

for our records.
