Summer Reading Game

Calling all pixies & pirates, come fly

away to Neverland for a magical adventure of reading & fun and let your imaginations soar. Are you up

for the challenge?

The 2019 summer reading program

will kick off on Tuesday, June 18th at 6:00 p.m. Starting that night, you will

be able to pick up your Summer Reading Challenge sheet at the

library. Challenges begin on June 19th. Every child who registers will

receive a free book! Read for 6 weeks this summer, and experience the joy of books by completing challenges.

Children entering kindergarten and younger will receive small weekly prizes, while children in grades 1-4 will receive raffle tickets to bid on prizes; such as, a Kindle Fire, an

Amazon gift card, Legos and books.

The program ends August 2nd.

Children will have until August 7th to get all tickets in prize cans and all

winners will be chosen on August 8th.

Drop in anytime Tuesdays between the hours of 11-8 or Wednesdays 11-4 for crafts inspired by the world of Neverland. Each week a different craft will be featured in our program room. No Registration! All ages are welcome! Parents are asked to remain in the craft room with their children. Please be aware that projects are available as supplies last. Craft program begins the week of June 24th and

runs through the week of July 29.

Neverland Summer Reading Kick-off Tuesday, June 18 at 6:00 p.m. “Toe Jam Pirate Show” performed by Toe Jam Band starts at 6:45p.m. Kick off our summer reading program with a free hotdog from The Family Friends of the BPL (while supplies last), face painting, live music performed by the Toe Jam Band and information all about the summer programs. Every child will receive a free book!
