The Challenge:To provide our customer, a major auto parts manufacturer, with a building supported crane system for a new production facility in Kentucky. The job incorporated three single box girder long span cranes.

Special Consideration:The general contractor needed design build capabilities for the crane and runway systems. Single box girder cranes were utilized to minimize crane and building steel costs.

Results:The general contractor maximized the strength of the building, Crane-Tec supplied a turn key crane system and the owner maximized floor space. The cranes were ready ahead of schedule allowing the owner to set up manufacturing machinery with the use of the overhead cranes.
