The ChallengeNomad Digital develops cutting edge technology that allows train operators to connect to and engage with passengers, staff, contractors and maintenance companies. The SolutionThe iomart solution for Nomad Digital is a latest generation private cloud which has been built for maximum performance, reliability, compatibility and throughput. Nomad’s production site sits on a dedicated platform in one of iomart’s ISO-accredited UK data centres, with a 100% mirrored site housed in one of iomart’s other UK DCs providing multi-site failover - Nomad cannot afford any disruption to its production data.

High capacity WAN connectivity ensures high speed movement of data through 10GB unmetered WAN uplinks and there is high-availability throughout with no single point of failure. Hardware is redundant, with scalable server and storage technology delivering extra capacity for Nomad as it’s required. The infrastructure is monitored and managed by iomart’s Network Operations Centre 24/7.
