CAP APRIL PROGRAM
The Office of Child and Youth Protection is announcing CAP (Child Assault Prevention) sessions. CAP is the safe environ-ment training program for adults who have regular contact with minors. Attendance is required in order to comply with the USCCB Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People. The policy of the Diocese of Camden is that adults will attend CAP once every five years. CAP 1 teaches attendees to RECOGNIZE CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT and how to report to the proper authorities. MARRIAGE PREPARATION: Beginning to Live in Love brings together engaged couples with a married couple trained to mentor them on the marriage-preparation journey. Couples will be pro-vided with resources, experiential exercises, practical skills, and inspirational witness in four, 3-
hour sessions. **Sundays, October 14, 21 and 28, then November 4, from 1-4pm. Our Lady of Peace Parish Center Basement, 32 Carroll Avenue, Williamstown, NJ 08094-1713. Our Catholic Strong Capital Campaign is in full swing here at St. Mary’s.
27 parishioners have contributed $195,960.00 which is 29.03% of our goal. The next phase of the campaign is being implemented with the showing of the Catholic Strong video at all Masses on the weekend of April 21-22. There will be two receptions on April 25th at 5:00pm and on April 29th at 1:00pm. 213 parishioners are involved in the next phase and will be contacted by invitation.
