Rainforest ButterfliesResidents requested another visit from Steve Fratello. He haspersonally gone into the jungles of Central & South Americato obtain these rare and beautiful butterflies. Thus, he bringsan authenticity to his programs that is unique. His artifacts

are the real thing, as are he and his presentation, on Tuesday,July 23 @ 10:30am. Room to be announced.

A Shining Star, Frieda S. was born in Vienna, Austria, andmigrated to the US at the age of 4. She liked playing “potsy” (aNew York City term for the game of “hopscotch”). She had astepmother, a brother (Max) and 3 sisters (Becky, Celia andEthel). Becky was only 3 years older than Frieda, but she waslike a substitute mother. Frieda married at 18. After 27 years of adispirited marriage, she met, fell in love and married (27 years)a kind and fine gentleman. Frieda worked for the Department ofLabor for 15 years. She enjoyed writing poetry & painting. Shelikes Elvis Presley and her favorite movie is “Now Voyager.”Frieda has 2 sons, Marvin and Bernard. She is blessed with 2grandchildren (one is a lung specialist), 4 great-grandchildrenand 6 great-great-grandchildren. Frieda joined our Castle familyin November, 2018. She is an avid bingo player. She loves anykind of game with a wager. Frieda says, “I have a master’s instreet smarts. I enjoy living at Castle. I like the wonderfulassistance, and kind staff.” Thank you, Frieda, for being socreative and making Castle your home.

FRIEDA’S CORNER: Yes, the same Freidathat is our Shining Star. Frieda’s poems arefeatured in some of our monthly newsletters.She has written a total of 35 poems. Thismonth features a poem Frieda wrote in honorof the forever love for her late sister, Becky.
