The Capoolong Creek Trail is located in between Pittstown, Clinton, and Franklin Township, NJ. It was once a railroad. There were stations in Easton, New York, and Newark. Peaches were one of the main things delivered. An insect infestation destroyed many of the peach trees, and the railroad started to lose business. Soon the railroad lost all of its business, so about 100 men tore down the railroad. Some pieces are still here today.

In the 1900’s a cloud of insects ruined many crops, causing the railroad to have less service.

Peaches, milk, and tomatoes were delivered on this train track.
