The Canning County Shoot Out The Canning Vaqueros proudly welcomes you to the 5 th annual Canning County Shoot Out! To be held at Canning Club Inc. on Saturday the 22 nd and Sunday the 23 rd of August 2015. Entrance Fees Club Members- $10.00 Visitors- $30.00 (includes visitor range fees) All competitors MUST be financial members of SSAA and be SASA/SASS holster proficient. Program The main match will consist of 10 stages. Saturday 12:45pm- Mandatory safety briefing (compulsory for all competitors) 1:00pm- Main match stages Sunday 9:00am- Main match stages Side matches will be held at the conclusion of the main match. - Fast Draw (wax bullets will be provided) - Speed Pistol - Speed Rifle - Speed Shotgun Main Match Categories Buckeroo/ Buckarette Junior Boy/ Junior Girl Cowboy/ Cowgirl Wrangler/ Lady Wrangler Forty-Niner/ Lady Forty-Niner Senior/ Lady Senior Elder Statesman/ Grand Dame Frontiesman Duelist/ Lady Duelist/ Senior Duelist Classic Cowboy/ Classic Cowgirl Gunfighter/ Lady Gunfighter B-Western Categories will require a minimum of three competitors to be included, except for Juniors and Classic Cowboy/ Classic Cowgirl which will run irrespective of numbers. Should your preferred category not be available please indicate one or more alternatives. The organizers reserve the right to place people in appropriate categories as numbers dictate. All ammunition must comply with the SASS Shooters Handbook (v20.2 page 12) with respect to composition velocity and power factor. Afternoon tea supplied on Saturday. Morning tea and lunch supplied on Sunday. Cool drinks, ice-creams and pies will be for sale from the club house.
