2012-2013

Pre-registration for the Spring 2013 term will begin on Wednesday, November 14 and continue through Tuesday, November 20, 2012. It is to the student’s advantage to pre-register to reserve a place in classes that are needed. Pre-registration also makes the Spring registration much simpler for both students and staff. The following steps will assist students in the pre-registration process:

Pick up a schedule of classes and registration form from the Registrar’s office as soon as possible.

Meet with faculty advisor to confirm your schedule, make sure that you have met the prerequisites for any class you wish to take, and get the registration form signed. Leave both yellow copies of the registration form with the advisor. Pink is the student copy.

Take the white copy of the registration form to the Registrar’s office during the time scheduled for your group, where the schedule will be entered into the computer. If you owe fines or fees, you may take care of these in the business office or with the Dean of Students. Otherwise, it is not necessary to go to the business office during pre-registration.

If you wish to make a course change after your schedule is entered into the computer, you must use a drop/add card. If you have any questions, please see me, the registrar, or your faculty advisor.

The pre-registration schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, November 14 8:30 – 12:00/1:00-3:30 Seniors

Thursday, November 15 8:30 – 12:00/1:00 – 3:30 Junior

Friday, November 16 8:30 – 12:00/1:00 – 3:30 Sophomores

Monday, November 19 8:30 – 12:00/1:00 – 3:30 Freshman

Tuesday, November 20 8:30 – 12:00/1:00 – 3:30 Open

All faculty advisors are requested to be in their offices as much as possible during pre-registration, or to post sign up sheets for appointments for their advisees.

Students are not excused from classes to pre-register.

Fall semester 2012 ends on Friday, December 14 after final exams. Registration for Spring 2013 semes-ter will be Monday, January 7, 2013. Spring Semester classes begin on Wednesday, January 9, 2013.
