The Bunsen nozzlesWhen it comes to low-pressure, small gas burners, Bunsen nozzles have advanced signicantly:
• althoughsmallindesign,theiroutputisveryhigh
•theyaretoleranttoimpactandinsensitivetocondensate
•theyaremadeofsteelandthusarehighlyreliable(SEP nozzles are also available in brass)
•thelargecross-sectionoftheexitboresmakesclogging almost impossible
•theyareblow-backproof
Bunsennozzlesareperfectlysuitedforbottomtotopbur-ningoftheflame.Forcompletecombustiontotakeplace,they require not only primary air but also require secon-daryair thatmustbesupplied to theflamefrombelow.Dependingonthesizeoftheheatedsurface, theremustbesufficientspacebelowtheburnerforthesupplyofthecombustion air. The installation of a flow safety deviceaccordingtoTRVisnecessary, iftheexhaustgasesarechanneledintoachimneystack.
Inordertodimensionthenozzleboreforgasmixtures, werequire the upper caloric value and the gas pressure, as wellastheexactcomposition.Underconsiderationofthe
spacings listed in the table, the Bunsen nozzles can be assembled based on the requirements into longitudinal, ringandstar formationsor anyother configuration.Weproduce standard low-pressure burners in a variety of designs;pleaseaskfortherespectivebrochures.
Amongst other things, the Bunsen nozzles described hereareusedforthefollowingapplications:
•Low-pressurestar-typeburners•Low-pressureringburners
We plan, manufacture and deliver complete heatingequipmentfortheentireindustry.Pleaseaskforadditional documentation.

Bunsen all-gas nozzles SEPTheBunsenall-gasnozzletypeSEPmaketheconversiontonaturalgaseasy.Inordertoconvertfromcitygas(gridgas)tonaturalgas,asmallnozzleinsertmustbeinstalled.It can be simply screwed into the burner's shaft. The flame is very stable, which is achieved by a flame-re-tainingringthatbranchesofffromthemainmixture'sflowbeneaththemainflame.Thestrengthoftheflamecanbemodifiedandsettoavarietyoflimitsbysimplyreplacingthenozzleinsert.Thewide-rangingflamesmaketheoverignition from nozzle to nozzle easier and at the same time promote a uniform secondary air supply through the combus-tion chamber. Con-version to liquid gas and all other common gas/air mixtures areeasy. When using liquid gas, the shaftand the nozzle insert must be replaced.
Gases with the sameWobbe number (e.g., rich gas andnatural gas) do not require the replacement of this noz-zle insert.Theflamesofbothgasesburnwiththesamestrengthandwithoutanyconversion.Whenusingcitygas(gridgas),naturalgasandliquidgasthestrengthoftheflamecanbeadjustedbychanging theboresizeof thenozzle insert (increments from1.9 to3kW).Thenozzlecanalsobesuppliedfor3.5kWandasaspecialdesignfor4.7kW.However,itisnotavailableforliquidgas.
