This trip is for Year 3 children who would have been learning about The Stone Age as well as the Romans. The children will visit the British Museum where there is a Hoards exhibition, as well as visiting other parts of the museum looking at the Romans.

This trip is for Year 3 children who would have been learning about The Stone Age as well as the Romans.

The children will visit the British Museum where there is a Hoards exhibition, as well as visiting other parts of the museum looking at the Romans.

The British Museum!!!

Visiting Schedule The trip will take place over half a day.9:30am The group leaves form school (IoE)10:00am The group have a presentation by a member of staff at the British Museum. Children will be able to have a Q & A session after the presentation.11:00am The group will be split equally. Half the group will get to explore the Hoards exhibition, while the other half look at the Roman section.11:30am The group switch over. 12:00pm The group have lunch at the School & Family Lunch Room1:00pm The group head back to school1:30pm The group arrive back at school.

This is where the children have lunch and store their belongings.

In the previous lessons, children would have learnt about The Stone Age including cave paintings and Skara Brae in preparation for the Hoards exhibition at the British Museum.
