Hi Everyone,

Last night we had our monthly meeting and I would like to thank all that attended. Mr Gill represented the teaching staff

and gave us a brief report about the professional learning our executive staff are undertaking at the moment in Sydney.

Thanks Mr Gill...

A few issues have been identified in our reports over the last few meetings and we have been dealing with them

including the tidying up and streamlining of our canteen treasurer's role. We would like to thank Kelly Jubb for adjusting

our system to come in line with good business practice. We have an amazing community with many different skills to

offer, thanks again Kelly. Thank you to Sarah also for undertaking the large task of bringing our canteen up to the

Healthy Canteen Standards of NSW. This requires a lot of hard work thinking of ways to keep the menu desirable for

the kids but healthy enough to meet the standards. You rock Sarah!

In our general business we discussed the running of the BBQ at the annual athletics carnival that's coming up next

Wednesday. We will be distributing plates for the cake stall and if anyone can help on the day, please give me a call. If

you don't bake maybe you could think of another way to help out, it will be muchly appreciated! It will be a great day with

burgers, sausage sangas, soup and yummy cakes.... So come and watch your kids compete and enjoy a casual day at

our school.

I would also like to make a special mention to Beth, our secretary. She not only does a lot of work for us in her own

time, but is a regular volunteer in our canteen. Thank you so much Beth, our canteen would not run if we didn't have

people like you. If you can do a few hours on a Wednesday or Friday, it’s a great way to feel connected with your

school. Your kids love seeing you there and you even get a $5 lunch voucher! Sarah or myself would love to hear from

you.

Thanks, have a great week!
