ORCHARD CAMPUS

MATH QUIZA very inspirational inter-active activity of Math Quiz was held at Orchard Campus. The quiz was based on Arithmetic and Geometry concepts. V to VIII grade students were divided in groups which competed to achieve maximum points. The stimulus impact of activity was evident on faces of the students when it ended.

CONFERENCE SESSION A Conference Session was held in Orchard Campus in which VI to VIII grade students enthusiastically participated and came up with excellent ideas about the given topic “Little Good Deeds”. Students had this meeting in the conference room and generously gave vent to their ideas. This conference was meant to develop a sense of social interaction with other fellows. It made them realize in which way we were all same learning at different levels on the road of knowledge. This boasted their level of confidence and helped them to socialize themselves in the community. It helped them to adjust in whichever community they may move into along with sympathy for the whole humanity.

AMALGAM OF ARTS AND SCIENCE Students of grades VI to VIII performed a remarkable interlinked activity of Art and Science. They demonstrated their understanding of the concepts related to Source of Light and Shadow Formation by drawing diagrams which also exhibited their art skills. 7th and 8th grades performed similar activity on “Types and Effects of Forces” and proved themselves unequalled competitors in Art-cum-Science performance. The importance of learning activities cannot be denied when it comes to groom the rightful latent inherent skills of our young ones which may remain unrevealed if not provided with the proper milieu.

STORY TELLING

A Story Telling Activity was demonstrated at Prep Level on Thursday 14th January. This time teachers performed on 'Ugly duckling'. The beautiful moral lesson 'Do not mock anyone' was conveyed to students through it.

PARENT TEACHING MEETING

To bridge the gap between staff and parents the P.T.M was held on 16th January. A number of parents came to discuss the progress of their children.

On 20th December, just before the onset of winter holidays, BTS Pre-School arranged a grand Winter

Gala for the residents of Bahria. The theme chosen for the event was 'Frozen'. All the decorations even the dresses worn by the staff reflected the Frozen theme. It had a variety of entertainment for everyone; Jumping Castle, Singing Performance, Magic Show, Photo Corner, Pin the Tail, Face Painting and Food Stalls gathered the attention of the folks the whole time. Never before, had such a huge winter festival been organized by Pre-School. This turned out to be a great success.
