Have a great idea for an invention Have a great idea for an invention (required step)(required step)

I didn’t really have a problem, but a girl that my mom taught forgot her stuff repeatedly for her test and my mom got mad. So, I thought I’d make the Book Sock. It wraps around the book and has a pocket on the front for pencils, pens, and a highlighter. A calculator and an eraser also fit well in it.

Investigate inventions and ideas of the past (required step)

There are similar inventions as mine, however, mine is adjustable and holds many more school items. It allows students to be very organized for their math class.

Test your invention.

I tested the Book Sock by making sure that all items fit properly. I also made sure that it was adjustable so that it could be used on different sized text books.

Keep improving your invention.

I improved my invention by making the holes for the pencils larger. This allowed me to fit pencils of different sizes into the slots easier.

Market your invention to people who might buy it. (required step)

I would market my invention by selling my Book Sock at my school store. I would sell it to teachers and students for $6.00. I am confident that it would be a big hit because it would help students have all of their test materials, class materials, etc. ready for class!
