The Book of Exodusy Introduction

The book of Exodus is about God's great deliverance of

Israel from Egypt and His meeting with them at Mt.Sinai. The book shows how God Redeemed theChildren of Israel from the hands of slavery . Gavethem the law in order to ensure that his people would

be set apart from the world.

y The Second Book of the Bible.y Definition: 1. A going out; particularly (the Exodus),

the going out or journey of the Israelites from Egyptunder the conduct of Moses; and hence, any large

considered to be a god incarnate. Ra (Amon-Ra), sun-godrepresented as a ram, was unable to stop it nor to savehimself.
