The class is consisted of 13 students aged 17, that belong to the second class of our school. They are Greek, Albanian and Georgian.

Students in circle discuss three warm-up questions before listening to the text.

1st Activity‘Scenes of gypsy’s everyday life’

Students in groups improvise and perform various scenes and incidents of a gypsy’s typical day.

Students are asked to present in groups the thoughts of the Roma and the policeman.Two students take the roles of the Roma and the policeman whereas the rest of them stand behind them in two groups and present their thoughts.

Step. 8 3rd Activity“Diary”

After having heard the rest of the text, students are asked to write in their notebooks, the thoughts of the Roma and the policeman in the form of a diary. This is a writing exercise where the students are asked to express themselves in their own words showing how deeply they have comprehended the text and how they have been affected by it.

is to help students develop a multicultural positive opinion towards minorities and start facing the ‘foreigner’ with as little fear as possible.
