ANOTHERFLAP OVER THE BLUE MOUNTAINS.by Rex Gilroy

Copyright Rex Gilroy 2011.2011 could be a busy year for Blue Mountains UFO Research Club. Beginning New Years Eve and continuing on overthe next few days, there were sightings, both day and night of glowing craft performing erratic movements overSpringwood, Lawson, Wentworth Falls, Katoomba and Megalong Valley.

On Saturday 1st January a Mrs Thompson while at Warragamba around 8pm, watched a zig-zagging silverspeck, high above the earths atmosphere, its movements perhaps covering about 100 kilometres with each back andforth movement. This mystery object took half an hour to disappear out of view over the tree line west of the housewhere she was staying.

In another incident, at 4pm on Monday 3rd January people at Echo Point Lookout south of Katoombatownship, observed a large silver-shining craft moving from over Wollondilly Valley to hover high above BurragorangValley over behind Ruined Castle rock formation.

A greenish-blue glowing cylindrical-shaped craft was reported to me by a Mr Steve Greer on Sunday 2ndJanuary as having been spotted by himself and wife Jan as it flew about cloud level over Penrith around 10.30pmheading north-west.

On Wednesday 29th December 2010 a family reported seeing three gold-glowing objects flying about 2

kilometres apart in triangular formation over Kings Tableland heading east. The craft all travelled at great speed. Whatwere surely the same craft were reported to me by a Springwood family as apparently having slowed down to coastover the town on a north-west course. The time of the Kings Tableland [south of Wentworth Falls township] wasaround 8.10pm the sighting over Springwood occurring about 8.15pm.

A Mrs Betty Moore phoned me on Tuesday 28th December 2010 from Lawson to say that, back in mid November she and a neighbour had seen at dusk a dark coloured saucer-type craft movingabout cloud level north of the town in the direction of the Bilpin area across the Grose Valley. It was moving slowly,continuing on out of sight. The craft appeared to be perhaps 20 metres in diameter and took some several minutesfrom when first observed to move out of sight.

At Blackheath Mr Keith Collins was on his pushbike near Hargreaves Lookout, when at about 6.20pm onMonday 20th December 2010 he spotted a silvery craft rising from out of a forested gully on the western side ofMegalong Valley. As he watched, he says the craft rose vertically to level with the top of the valley, then flew south-west

at increasing speed to quickly vanish over the ranges.Summer nights on the Blue Mountains, particularly at high vantage points such as lookouts etc are ideal forSkywatching. A favoured vantage point of our Club members is the knoll out on Narrow Neck Plateau, where ongood starry nights UFOs have been seen. Another location is Kings Tableland, where at McMahons Lookout anexcellent view of the Burragorang Valley also offers a view of the underground space base. Mystery lights havefrequently been seen moving about on unmarked dirt roads in that valley late at night and the area is regularly patrolledagainst secret infiltrations into the areas of base entrances by curious campers and others with more sinister intentions.

A month never passes without people reporting sightings of mystery flying objects around the Blue Mountains,but at present it may appear as from the aforementioned reports that 2011 will be a good year for our Clubs activities.

ARGENTINA TO RECORD UFO SIGHTINGS.

The Argentine Air Force has created a commission to record and investigate reports of unidentified flying

objects (UFO) in the South American country's airspace, a spokesman told AFP Wednesday.

The Commission for the Investigation of Airspace Phenomenon "is in the process of being formed," said

Captain Mariano Mohaupt.

Officials said the air force already holds records of reported UFO sighting, but the interdisciplinary

commission - involving meteorologists, air traffic controllers and civilian pilots alongside militaryauthorities - would formalise the data keeping.

Other South American countries including neighbouring Brazil and Uruguay and have previously moved

to record alleged UFO sightings.

Argentine authorities urged military and civilian pilots as well as air traffic controllers to report their

experiences and, if possible, to send any documenting evidence.

Aliens may be living among us, say two scientists, who argue we may even carry some alien genes. Australianresearchers Professor Paul Davies and Dr Charles Lineweaver outline their hypothesis in the latest issue ofthe journal Astrobiology.

They say the aliens in question are likely to be primitive microbes that sprang up some four billion years ago.At this time the Earth was being buffeted by a hail of meteors and giant asteroids during what's known as theArchaean bombardment. Alternately, microbial life forms may have arrived on Earth from space and

unobtrusively co-existed with us.

Davies, of the Australian Centre for Astrobiology at Sydney's Macquarie University, admits the theory isspeculative but says some of these microbes may have survived undetected to this day.

Multiple life events

He says statistics indicate there's a 95% chance of life on other Earth-like planets, a figure that he extrapolatesto Earth itself.

"I think it's a possibility [there are aliens among us]," he says.

"The basic idea is that if life is easy to form as many astrobiologists suppose, then surely it should be formedmore than once on Earth. From what we know about the early record of life on Earth it happened pretty fastonce conditions became suitable. It's fairly easy to then work out the probability that if life began here on

Earth, which is the most Earth-like planet there is, there's about a 95% chance that it would have done itmore than once, maybe twice, three times. Who knows?"

Davies says the bombardment of the planet may have resulted in a series of "stop-go" experiments, in whichlife arose and was annihilated by successive bombardments. But some pockets of life may have survived thebombardment, and today may lurk far beneath the Earth's surface, or in deep ocean hydrothermal vents, highin the atmosphere or in contaminated lakes.

They may even be in solar orbit or they may have colonised Mars, Davies says. They may even exist rightunder our noses but may be so foreign to us that we are failing to detect them.

"We have the technology to look for them, we just haven't bothered to look," he says. Alien microbes arelikely to be missed or discarded in even the most general microbial analysis. They may also have propertiesthat don't reveal them to be living things, he says, or they could be lying around dormant, waiting for the rightconditions to spring to life.

"For all these reasons we could be surrounded by living, dormant or dead alien microbes without being awareof it," he says.

Could we be part alien?

We may even be part alien ourselves, Davies suggests.

He says some early switching of genetic material may have occurred between our ancestors and the alien lifeforms that may also have called the Earth home billions of years ago. "It is conceivable that remnants ofalternative biochemical systems have become incorporated in extant organisms," he says. We could imaginethat there would have been a mingling of different types of life. There may have been some swapping andmixing around of components of separate genuses."

He says the relatively recent discovery of archaea, tiny microbes that look like bacteria but have an entirelydifferent genetic makeup, suggests the "microbial world has many hidden surprises, one of which may bealien life".

"Our conclusion is that alien microbes could exist on earth today and have remained undetected by our bestefforts," he says.

Why life arose so quickly

Australian researcher Dr Wilfred Walsh, who lectures in extraterrestrial life at the University of New South

Wales, says Davies' theory is not impossible.

He says the suggestion that life formed readily, rather than being a rare one-off fluke, helps explain themystery of why it arose so quickly as soon as conditions allowed. "It's certainly a bit puzzling why lifemanaged to originate so quickly after the Earth calmed down," he says.

"Either it was able to form quickly on Earth or it arrived from elsewhere. There may be life on Earth thatpartly originated off the Earth together with some that originated on the Earth."

THE PURPOSE OF PINE GAP.

Some of the following information was derived from an impeccable scientific source who, up to the time ofhis retirement occupied a key position among the Australian scientific elite. Due to his position he was fullyinformed about all joint government scientific programmes and was often asked to advise on technical andintelligence matters relating to them. He agreed to comment on some American activities in Australia

providing he was not identified by subsequent use of the information. The man has an amazing backgroundinvolving an association with some of the greatest scientific discoveries of the twentieth century, in his oldage he feels that people should be made a little more aware of what is going on around them.

There are at least ten top secret American facilities in Australia with the so- called Joint defense Space ResearchFacility at Pine Gap outside Alice Springs being classified as the most important. At the time the agreementto establish Pine Gap was signed by the Australian government its purpose was to control and act as adownlink for geosynchronous satellites stationed over the Pacific and Asia.

The American agencies involved with this intelligence gathering are the CIA, NSAand the NRO. Howeverthere were other reasons for establishing the base which have never been fully revealed to the Australian

government. The agreement clearly stated that it was not a requirement for the U.S.A. to share allinformation with Australia. In fact when the Whitlam government came to power in 1972 what littleinformation that was being shared with the Australian Defense Signals Directorate (DSD) was reduced to atrickle and at one time, prior to 1975, stopped altogether.

The main reasons for Pine Gap being situated where it is are proximity to the Pacific and Indian Oceans andAsia, its Southern hemispheric window to outer space, its position on the earths surface in relation toother important areas situated on the planet, its isolation and the fact it is situated in an area of lowelectromagnetic radiation.

Construction of the base was undertaken by American contractors who flew in their own workforce from

the U.S.A. on a shift basis. No Australians were involved in the construction work which took around twoyears before the base became operational. Construction work continued for several years on largeunderground facilities which are rumoured to extend some twelve levels below the base. Long tunnels arelaid out in a pattern similar to the spokes of a wheel and extend several miles from the center of the base.

In a deep shielded underground chamber a nuclear reactor similar in size to those used to powersubmarines was installed to drive large AC and DC generators. This fact has been kept secret as it was quiteillegal for such equipment to be operated without an act of parliament changing the existing laws relating tothe installation of nuclear power stations in Australia. But when its all secret in the first place who needs toget permission? The Pine Gap base also has an above ground diesel powered generating station which, it isclaimed, is the only power station there. If that is so why is it shut down most of the time? If you need an

electromagnetic free area you dont build a power station in the middle of it. Of course it can be used whenthe base was not operating but then what keeps everything running when it is turned off-- batteries? PineGap is not connected to an outside electricity supply.

Reportedly, extending some twenty thousand feet below the base is a bore hole containing an ultra lowfrequency antenna which is apparently used for secret experiments supposedly related to Nikola Teslasresonance theories as well as low frequency communications throughout the world. Pine Gaps communicationsystems are the most sophisticated available utilizing satellites, microwave, low frequency and their owndedicated cable to the U S.A. Also they are directly connected to Nurrunga, North West Cape, Geraldton,

Australian Defense Signals Directorate in Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, all CIAand NSAstations,ASIO,SIS and perhaps one of the most interesting secret departments of all, the Australian Defense Science

and Technology Organization which deals with U.F.O.s and crash retrievals.

The number of staff at Pine Gap varies between four hundred to five hundred at any one time and allexcept a liaison officer and his small staff are Americans. Although Alice Springs is only fourteen miles fromthe front gate few of the Pine Gaps occupants ever visit there. They stay in their self contained theme park

enjoying all the luxuries of home. So stringent is the security that even personal shopping is undertaken inthe U.S.A. and everything ordered on a weekly basis, including the groceries, is delivered on the ThursdayC5 flight from California (there are usually three or four per week).

Pine Gap is a multi billion dollar operation of great importance to the American government. It is said thatto be selected for a tour of duty there is like being elevated to the priesthood, a comment which may not beas silly as it sounds. The vast empty territory of central and South Australia has always been an area of highU.F.O. activity. The Woomera rocket -range and the nuclear test site at Maralinga seemed to be their focalpoints during the 1950s and early 1960s. However this changed somewhat when construction started atPine Gap and later at Nurrunga. From the time the earthmoving equipment moved in there was a rapid risein U.F.O. sightings in AliceSprings and the surrounding area. The regular sightings have continued to thisday and some of them could only be described as bizarre. (Note: As of 2002, they are ongoing.)

Pine Gap (above image) can be observed from the distant surrounding hills which overlook the entiresecure base area. All that can be seen are eight white radomes placed in close proximity to groups of longlow buildings. A few miles from the base a double security fence winds its way around through the grass andlight scrub and cuts its way through the lower levels of the nearby hills. The fence is patrolled continuouslyby American guards and members of the Australian Federal Police Force. The American guards live at the baseand the Federal Police at Alice Springs.

One case which received some limited publicity in 1989 involved three hunters who were on an all nightshooting trip in the hills near Pine Gap. At around 4.30a.m. they observed a large camouflaged door openon the side of a low hill inside the security compound and a metallic, circular disc appear from the gapingblack hole, tip on its edge and disappear vertically at tremendous speed. The door then slowly shut andeverything returned to normal. The camouflage was so good that from their vantage point they were unableto observe anything unusual about the area after the door closed.

There are several other incidents of a similar nature which were reported by visitors to the area and in onecase in 1975 the occupants of a passenger plane which was passing some eighteen miles to the east of thebase observed a large white object, similar in size to one of the white radomes, suddenly leap into the air anddisappear rapidly towards the north west. As everyone on the plane was interested in seeing what Pine Gaplooked like, most of the passengers and crew witnessed the event. When the pilots reported the incident,everyone on the plane was interviewed and told not to talk about it.A camouflaged door case occurred in 1980 when two members of the Northern Territory Police, who weretaking part in a search for a missing Alice Springs child, watched as three bath tub shaped objects flewslowly over the base and then one by one disappeared in to an oblong black hole in a hillside. This alsooccurred during the early hours of the morning and as the two police officers had arranged to meet othermembers of the search party they left without seeing the door close.

Another type of sighting involves, blue, red and gold pencil-like beams. In 1973 a government cartographerwas camped in an area near Pine Gap. Some time after midnight he saw a vertical shaft of very bright bluelight emanating from the area of the base. He decided to take a closer look. He drove his four wheel drive tothe top of a low hill from which the Pine Gap base could be seen some eight miles to the east. There was afull moon so the white radomes could be seen quite clearly with the naked eye. Taking a closer look throughhis twelve power binoculars he could see most of the base as well as a strange looking object apparentlyhovering above it at a height he estimated to be around one thousand feet.

Firstly he thought it was a cigar shaped balloon or blimp but this idea quickly evaporated when the objectslowly tipped to a 45 angle exposing what appeared to be its top surface to the now somewhat surprisedobserver. It was clear that the object was perfectly circular with a central dome. As the bottom edge was stillabout one thousand feet above the base, the cartographer estimated the diameter of the disc to be a littlemore than half the distance between the Pine Gap base and the discs bottom edge, making it between fiveand six hundred feet in diameter.

In the moonlight the disc appeared to be a dull grey colour with a slight yellow fuzz around its edge. As hewatched, a thin bright blue beam, like a rod, slowly extended from the disc to the base. The strange thingabout it was that unlike a flash light it did not just turn on, it slowly moved in a telescopic fashion from the

disc and gradually extended behind the radomes. A few minutes later the light beam retracted only to befollowed by a similar blue beam slowly extending from the base to the disc. This was followed by a goldcoloured beam which appeared very close to the blue one.

After about thirty seconds both retracted back into the base. This process continued for about forty minutesand ended when the disc made some rapid oscillations lit up like a neon sign and ascended vertically at veryhigh speed, disappearing in a few seconds. The cartographer reported the incident to his superior officer in

Alice Springs. This resulted in what he later described as a grilling by some very officious people whowarned him to keep silent about his experience otherwise he would be in for some very real trouble. He wasalso told that he had not seen anything and to remember that.

A more complex sighting involved five witnesses in 1984. The leader of this group was a technical expertwith a Western Australian government department who had received persistent reports from colleagues ofintensive U.F.O. activity around Alice Springs and Pine Gap. He was told that between certain datessomething big was going to happen. The information was so intriguing that he decided to mount aclandestine expedition to Central Australia and to approach Pine Gap from the west through the GibsonDesert and MacDonnell Ranges.

They used two specially prepared four wheel drivesand once in the area of the MacDonnell Rangestraveled only at night in an effort to reduce thechances of detection. After reaching the Pine Gap

area they concealed the vehicles and positionedthemselves in an elevated area which overlooked thebase at a distance of about ten miles. As they hadseveral small size astronomical telescopes with themthey had no difficulty in gaining a good view of mostof the base area. For the first two days and nights

very little happened. Apart from the occasionalmovement of small vehicles and a few peopleeverything was quiet. The group was becoming a littleimpatient but decided to sit it out for at least a weekin the hope they would see something interesting.

During the evening of the fourth day they noticed some unusual activity developing in the main base area. Anumber of vehicles were moving around the base and what appeared to be groups of people dressed incoveralls were gathering at various points near the radomes. Suddenly a bright beam of gold coloured lightsprang up from the centre of the radome area. This was not a pencil-like beam but seemed to be several

meters in width and extremely intense. The width of the beam appeared to remain the same as far as it couldbe seen extending vertically into the sky. When observed through the telescope it looked almost solid.

As they watched, long uneven clouds developed in the clear air surrounding the beam which despite abreeze blowing at the time remained stationary. The beam suddenly cut off and the tubular cloud started todrift to the east like a vertical vapour trail. The beam pulsed several times and each time it did so the cloudeffect returned even forming what looked like a series of smoke rings. No one in the group could explain

why but they all felt extremely disturbed by what they had just seen even to the point of nausea.

But the show had only just started. The gold light beam shot down and once again the dirty looking cloudsstarted drifting away. It was at that point that the group noticed five star like objects approaching from theSouth. As they drew closer four of the objects were seen to be in a tight diamond shaped formation and thefifth which looked like a cylinder was following at a distance of about two miles. The objects slowed as theyreached the base area the four smaller objects took up positions north, south, east and west of the base eachmoving in small circles.

The cylindrical shaped object which appeared white in colour with a bright while halo around its centermoved towards the base reducing altitude to about five hundred feet in the process. It then stopped, rocking

up and down like a boat at its moorings. Once in position blue light beams started flashing between all fiveobjects and the ground. The whole scene was more than bizarre as it appeared that extraterrestrial craft werein direct communication with the human occupants of the base below them.

It should be mentioned that the whole episode was recorded on video tape and thirty five millimeter stillfilm. However as this was virtually a case of a government department spying on a foreign friend nothinghas been released and it almost certainly never will.

This scene continued for about five minutes then one of the small objects rapidly descended towards thebase and appeared to land at its northern end It remained there for seventeen minutes then returned to itsoriginal position east of the base and approximately one thousand feet from the ground. The gold light

beam again emanated from the area of the radomes. This time the small objects began to rotate around thebeam and ascend vertically as if they were examining it. The cylindrical object remained in its positionbobbing up and down as before.

The four objects then returned spiraling down the beam and returning to their previous positions. Thecloud was thickening around the light beam and looked like a long thin Ionic column. The beam was turnedoff and once again the greyish cloud broke up and drifted towards the east. In a jerking motion thecylindrical object started to gain altitude stopping in proximity to the smaller objects which had reformedtheir diamond shaped formation. The group then moved off in a southerly direction and disappeared in afew seconds.

The witnesses were shocked by what they had seen as it seemed obvious there was human co-operation withextraterrestrials. It also seemed strange to them that despite the strict security applied at the Pine Gap basethey were able to get reasonably close to it without interference. Perhaps no one would believe them anywayand declare their photographic evidence a hoax, however that did not seem logical as good security ismaintained when there is no evidence at all and when no explanations or a programme of ridicule isnecessary. Yet all this was happening in front of them and only about fifteen miles from the large town of

Alice Springs. Perhaps what they had seen was a vital experiment and such open exposure was unavoidablefrom time to time.

The group spent the next few days observing the base day and night and apart from helicopters and othersmall aircraft they observed at least seven other UFOs in the area. One of the witnesses later described the

experience as making his skin crawl every time he thought about it.

After leaving the area they took a circuitous route around the base and then drove down the main highwayto Alice Springs. As it looked like they had traveled from Darwin no-one took any notice of them. Afterarranging the rail transport of the two four wheel drives back to Perth they left by plane the next day.

They all agreed that the incident had changed their view of all things in general but had in some waydisgusted them as they now knew their government had lied to them from the start and had done so in co-operation with a friend and ally.

Does all this mean that there has been a working co- operation between extraterrestrials and earth boundgovernments for a long period of time? The answer is a simple yes. Although UFOs had been observed on

a regular basis during and after the Second World War they did not become a problem with the potential ofserious social consequences until 1947. The burst of publicized sightings which followed Kenneth Arnoldsoriginal encounter in the north western United States caused great official concern.

It was obvious from the outset that what was being observed was vastly superior to anything manufacturedon earth and it was only logical to assume that the operators of such machinery were likely to be of a veryhigh order of intelligence and almost certainly from outer space. So much evidence, including recoveredequipment, was accumulated that there was no way of denying the importance of these events and thedangers they represented. The earth was being openly visited and closely observed and what was officialdomgoing to do about it?

Firstly it had to be covered up so the public would be protected. Secondly it would be important for our government leadership to make contact with the visitors andtry to come to terms with them before total exposure occurred which could only result in the

collapse of civilized social order. Thirdly, as what was being observed represented an advanced science of very high order, technical

advantages could be achieved if contact was made.It is not clear exactly when contact was first achieved by the U.S.A. but information from various sourcesindicates radio communication followed by direct face to face contact occurred in the early 1950s. TheSoviet Union and the United Kingdom were also attempting to do the same and established their owncontacts about the same time. After some understanding was reached the initial methods of communication

were centralized in the U.S.A. with the Russians co- operating by the mid 1950s.

The importance of the situation led to the secret establishment of theNational Security Agencyby the Trumanadministration in November, 1954. The initial task of the NSAwas to establish and develop reliable andsecure communications with extraterrestrials who were visiting earth and find out as much as possible aboutthem. There are strong indications that to this day the NSA is deeply involved with the UFOs and theirprimary activity is to identify and monitor alien communications and to suppress any information that mayconfirm their reality to the public.

This policy has been rigidly maintained and is perhaps more useful to the aliens themselves than it is to thehuman race. The aliens are pursuing their own agendas and they do not want unnecessary interference fromearths officialdom or the broad masses they control. Alien involvement in Australia is similar to that of theU.S.A., Europe and Russia. For some technological rewards and minor co-operation in other areas the

E.T.s conduct their own genetic experimentation and the exploitation of the country is generally totallyunhindered by humans. They have a free hand to do what they want as there is no way of stopping them.

UFO involvement in Australian affairs started in the late 1940s just as it did in the U.S.A. It became a majorconcern during the 1950s and early 1960s when the British were conducting nuclear testing in South

Australia and test firing a variety of missiles at the Woomera Rocket Range situated in the same state. Sointense was the U.F.O. activity in these test areas that nuclear explosions and rocket launches had to besuspended, often for several days, due to electromagnetic effects causing total electrical failure at the testsites. The township of Woomera itself was often blacked out for hours by the close approach of the UFOs

which a source advised were filmed by rocket tracking cameras at great length. In fact during one UFO flapin the area more than sixteen thousand feet of film was taken of a variety of vehicles cris crossingthe area. The

film was promptly sent to Washington D.C. for analysis.

Almost certainly due to the technical achievements of the U.S.A. there seems little doubt that the E.T.sfocused their main attention on that country. However, they did not ignore the activities of other countriesand to this day continue to monitor human activities both military and civil throughout the world. As a

result of internal efforts made during the early 1950s, both the U.S.A and Russia made contact with twoalien species who apparently often worked together on various scientific projects and joint military mattersincluding what we would describe as the policing of their own areas of influence. Apart from this contact

which developed into a form of co- operation it became evident that as many as seven other groups werevisiting the planet and did not have an association with the first two. In fact there was every indication thatthey were unfriendly to them and each other and often directly hostile to humans.

Secret official research at the time indicated that several of these groups appeared to be preparing a hugeworld wide military operation or police action against the earth. This made friendly co- operation with thefirst two groups even more important. There are indications that the technical help provided by the twoinitial contact groups brought about a tremendous leap forward in technology and made the development ofSDI a real possibility. In return for our governments giving the groups a free hand to exploit the planet andhuman race, and as far as possible keep their presence a secret, they would provide the technical know howto prevent further major wars and stop any other interested extraterrestrials from invading the planet.

It has been said with some authority that they are the brains behind SDI, the extension of which is theHAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Programme) system which is aimed at creating anelectromagnetic shield around the world to prevent an attack from outer space. This development never had

anything to do with the threat from Soviet Russia, in fact the Russians have actively co-operated in thedevelopment programme since its inception.

Such advanced defense systems required world wide coverage involving operational centers in secure areasin several countries. Australia was, and still is, an ideal piece of real estate for this purpose and is beingutilized to the full. From the beginningPine Gap has been associated with secret scientific experiments intoanti gravity, magnetic propulsion and what the radical press of the 1960s described as Sci-Fi research.Certainly, its communication functions were important and still are but its research and developmentsections situated below the surface are considered vital to the future of the planet. Here extraterrestrialsconduct their work in partial co-operation with human scientists.

They live in special conditions in virtual isolation and come and go as they please. The final stages of SDIincluding the HAARP system should be functioning, providing it all works, by 1998/99 and if necessaryits entire world wide operation will be controllable from the network of secret bases in Australia (Is itactually functioning now, in 2002? This is not known.)

Who or what would be at the controls, humans or something from outer space? One can only guess at theanswer but it seems certain that the isolation and security of these bases situated in a distant part of thesouthern hemisphere is of as much importance to the aliens as it is to their human counterparts.

NURRUNGAR - "JOINT DEFENSE SPACE

COMMUNICATION STATION".In many ways Nurrungar is similar to thebase at Pine Gap. On the surface it smilitary role is to draw information from aseries of geostationary satellites which

watch for missile launches and nucleardetonations throughout Asia and theMiddle East. However this represents asmall percentage of its activities.

Basically it acts as a backup facility to PineGap complete with extensive undergroundinstallations and an illegal nuclear reactor

which has to be supplied with largeamounts of water carried by a regular train

service originating in the southern part of the state of South Australia. Like Pine Gap, it is situated in anisolated area of low electromagnetic activity and sealed off from the public view by a security zone which ispart of the Woomera Prohibited Area.

From the time construction of Nurrungar began in 1969 the U.F.O. activity in the Woomera areaincreased to similar levels experienced during the height of the nuclear and missile testing of the 1950s andearly 1960s. It remains one of the most active U.F.O. areas in Australia. One source told the writer that

E.T.s used Nurrungar just as they did at Pine Gap. They have a free hand and there was no way ofcontrolling them. "They run the place," he said.

Apart from its more obvious functions, the main purpose ofNurrungar remains -top secret. It is knownthat it has similar communication links as Pine Gap as well as a separate undersea cable link to the U.S.A.

Also it is rumoured that direct links are maintained with a similar installation situated in North West Chinaand the ultra secret American base at the South Pole.

The Secrets of Pine Gap and Canberra

INTRODUCTION

According to John Lear, William Cooper, and several other researchers the U.S. government may havemade a 'pact' with a non-human race as early as 1933. According to some this 'race' is not human as weknow it, yet it claims to have it's origin on earth several thousands of years ago. Some sources allege that thispredatory race is of a neo-saurian nature.

This has led others to suggest that the dinosaurs which ruled the surface of the earth in prehistoric timesmay not have become entirely extinct as is commonly believed, but that certain of the more intelligent andbiped-hominoid mutations of that race developed a form of intellectual thought equal to or surpassing thatof the human race, and then possibly went into hiding.

For instance one branch or mutation of the supposedly extinct sauroid race, Stenonychosaurus, was accordingto paleontologists remarkably hominoid in appearance, being 3 1/2 to 4 1/4 ft. in height with possibly

greyish-green skinand three-digit clawed fingerswith a partially-opposable 'thumb'.

The opposable thumb and intellectual capacity is the only thing preventing members of the animal kingdomfrom challenging the human race as the masters of planet earth. For instance the ape kingdom possessesopposable thumbs yet it does not possess the intellectual capacity to use them as humans do. The dolphinspossess intellects nearing that of humans but do not possess opposable thumbs or even limbs necessary toinvent, etc. Could their be an 'animal' which possesses both of these characteristics?

The cranial capacity of Stenonychosaurus was nearly twice the size of that of human beings, indicating alarge brain and possibly advanced though not necessarily benevolent intellect. According to researchers suchas Brad Steiger,Val Valerian,TAL LeVesque and others this may actually be the same type of entity orentities most commonly described in 'UFO' encounters, as well as the same type of creatures depicted inearly 1992 in the nationally viewed CBS presentation 'INTRUDERS'.

According to Lear and others the government may have established a 'treaty' with this race, which they laterlearned to their horror was extremely malevolent in nature and were merely using the 'treaties' as a means tobuy time while they methodically establish certain controls upon the human race, with the ultimate goal ofan absolute domination.

It is also alleged by certain deep-level intelligenceagents that the Illuminati, or the 'Cult of the Serpent', is willfullyworking hand-in-claw with this infernal race which has promised them part of the action once the 'NewWorld Order' is established.The Illuminati is allegedly in it for the power and 'technology' which this non-human race is supposed to give them in exchange for their cooperation. are actually 'joint' areas where the technology exchanges have been carried out, as well as battles between thehumans and 'grays' sparked by disagreements, etc.

Could the Illuminati's plans for world domination be backed by an'alien' vanguard? One unusual point that the following articlemakes is the apparent connection between the Illuminati's 'Club ofRome' and the so-called 'Greys'. One might ask themselves: If an

alien species desired to establish control over a civilization, wouldthey attempt an outright and immediate invasion and destructionof all resistance or would they instead attempt to manipulatesituations behind the scenes in order to turn the inhabitants of the'target' environment against each other, and decimate thepopulation to the point that resistance would be minimal?

The 'logical' choice, presuming that the 'aliens' are heartless vermin,would be the latter, and there is much evidence that the 'Club ofRome' has 'sold out' the human race to such alien powers inexchange for certain promises, and that this sold-out power group

is carrying out an agenda of MASS GENOCIDE against thehuman race as a whole, in obedience to their draconian masters. Ifsuch an inhuman and alien race exists, then these genocidal 'policies' which the Illuminati-Club or Rome iscarrying out no doubt originated from 'them'.

As William Cooper has stated elsewhere, whether the 'aliens' exist or not makes no difference, since the'idea' of the existence of a non-human alien race is part and parcel of the Illuminati's one-world totalitarianplans. This has been confirmed by several researchers. With this introduction, the activities taking place atsuch underground installations as the Pine Gap Facility may be better understood.

From Dr. Jean Francois Gille, who moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico from France, comes a translation

of a French document that exposes the relationship between several factors in the matrix of world affairs.The article, titled - 'PINE GAP BASE: WORLD CONTEXT', was written byLucien Cometta and latertranslated into English byDr. John Gille:"In order to understand the case of the Pine Gap US base (near Alice Springs, Australia) better, I feelcompelled to give some explanations beforehand. I hope these explanations will help to increase the generalawareness of the extraordinary importance that facility has for mankind as a whole.

"The majority of people, all over the world, are not lingering in doubt as to whether UFOs and ETs arereal. They know they are real. Here in early 1989, no one questions their existence. The case for UFOs andETs aroused passions, controversies and grandstanding for many years. Some of it has not been quiterational. The matter being relatively settled, public opinions should cool down. It is with a serene and clear

mind that we ought to be thinking of our future relationship with the peoples from space. However, thepublic mind is not at peace. It vaguely feels that the governments are hiding "something real big", and itwonders where our leaders are going to lead mankind.

"During the process of research and study of UFOs and aliens, researchers who do not take theexplanations of the scientific establishment at face value have discovered unsettling facts; these facts havestarted the lifting off (of) the lid of the coverup. This base iscompletely underground, with barely visible entrances to the surface.

"This 'Top Secret' base is entirely financed by the United States Government, and is officially known as theJoint Defense Space Research Facility.

"When the JDSRF was first initiated, its aim was scientific research for the supposed development of aspace defense technology. It is now known that since its inception, its primary purpose was research intoelectromagnetic propulsion.

"What exactly is Pine Gap? As strange as it may seem, even Australian Federal Parliament members do notknow. Among the Cabinet members, only a small number of 'initiates' have a vague idea of what this is allabout. The only information source available to the public is the cross-checking done by private researcherssuch asJimmy Guieu, following statements made by the United States or Australian magazines (always veryshort and terse paragraphs), and anything the locals may notice.

"It is said that under Pine Gap is the deepest drilling hole in Australia - about 5 miles (more than 8,000meters). Such a hole is likely used as an underground antenna able to recharge the batteries of submarines inthe Pacific and Indian Ocean through ELF broadcasts. Such a gigantic antenna could be used to generate the

gigantic stationary wave around the Earth.

"Some say that Pine Gap has an enormous nuclear generator to supply energy to a new type of transceiver.It seems too that there is a high-powered, high-voltage plasma accelerator which may be put to use totransmit electric current, or even to produce a 'death-ray', or quite simply to feed a plasma gun. All this isnot as incredible as it sounds: it is now known that the US base of West Cape, near Exmouth Gulf in

Western Australia (Harold E. Holt USN Communication Station), has an older type of the transceiver usedat Pine Gap which is used to send electric current to submerged US submarines who trail a wire antenna. Itis known that electric currents transmitted in this way are referred to as plasmo-dynamic cells.

"Several times, locals have seen WHITE DISKS about 30' in diameter in the process of being unloadedfrom large US cargo planes at the airports serving Pine Gap. Those disks had the USAF emblem on them. Itseems likely that disks are assembled and based at Pine Gap. The number of disks seen at night leaves no

doubt in anyone's mind. An amazing quantity of furniture has been delivered by plane from the UnitedStates. The locals also say that an enormous amount of food is stocked in warehouses of what could well bea true multi-leveled underground city.

"On the other hand,Pine Gap is wellknown as one of themost importantcontrol centers forspy satellites whichcircle the globe. An

article published inlate 1973 claimedthat the Pine Gapinstallation, along

with its sisterinstallation in Guam,

were used to controlthe photographicmissions of the large

American satellitesin orbit above the

Earth.

connected to their American and Australian central counterparts, which collect all the information securedin these countries, not only about finance and technology, but on every aspect of the life of the averagecitizen. Those computers at Pine Gap are also evidently connected to similar mainframes in Guam, inKrugersdorp South Africa, and at the Amundsen-Scott US base at the South Pole.

"Let us say, incidentally, that the employees (more than 1200) of the US base in South Africa all claim to bemembers of the US consular mission in that country. It may be worthy of note that the Amundsen-Scott

base at the South Pole is located on a sensitive magnetic spot of our planet, that it holds exactly the sameassets as Pine Gap, and that all the information about most of the average citizens of Western Europe isstored there in memory banks tens of meters under the icepack.

"A statement made by the Australian premier about 1987, assuring that 'France must disappear from thePacific, from the Kerguelen Ridge, and from Antarctica' sheds light on the importance of this polar base forthe Anglo-Saxon world.

"The most disquieting fact about Pine Gap may be that the employees working on the base, and especiallythose earmarked for duty on electromagnetic propulsion projects, have undergone brainwashing and evenimplantation of intracranial devices. Those employees have turned into unconditional slaves of their master,

whoever he is. Rather scary, isn't it?

"The true point of the brainwashing of those individuals, along with the ruthless attempts to implement thecoverup of really advanced military technology, will become clear at the end of this article.

"For me, it all began with the construction of the new Parliament building in Canberra, which cost billionsof dollars. Australia has only 18 million inhabitants, yet it apparently treated itself to a building far beyond itsmeans... supposedly to accommodate its government even if the old Parliament building was perfectly fine.

"This new building, enormous, immense and magnificent would easily fit the needs of the USSR or of theUnited States, which both have hundreds of millions of citizens to rule. That building puzzled me, and I

"Sometime after, I stumbled on a pamphlet published by the Human Rights Organization, which talked about agroup of about a hundred people well-placed in high finance, politics, the judiciary branch and big business.

This group was called the 'Club of ROME'. According to this pamphlet, the CLUB OF ROME waspledged to a consortium which controls all international finance. A number of other groups similar to theCLUB OF ROME are equally pledged to that finance consortium, AND ARE INFILTRATING THE

VARIOUS POLITICAL AND RELIGIOUS GROUPS WITH THE INTENTION TO MAKEPROGRESS TOWARD THE INSTITUTION OF A WORLD DICTATORSHIP.

"The whole thing looked a little bit too preposterous to be true, it seemed to me. Nevertheless, a friend ofmine gave me an audio cassette taped at a lecture given byPeter Sawyer, a former high-ranking Australiancivil servant, which exposed a certain number of facts he had noticed while in office. He talked, in particular,of a telephone exchange in Canberra called 'Deacon Center'. This exchange, built in concrete with 4 (ft. ?)thick walls, cost hundreds of millions of dollars. It is outfitted with numerous computers, arrayed on fourlevels. When he tried to find out why such equipment was needed in a country of only 18 million, hediscovered that those computers were connected to all the banks, to every post office, to all telephones, andto all of the police stations and customs houses; to every arrival and departure desk for air or sea travelers;and also and above all, to the other data centers collecting data on private citizens... in the United States as

well as in Europe.

"That facility on Deacon street is therefore a Center where all the data pertaining to every citizen of theWestern World end up being stored. All financial, economic, political and military information, as well as theinformation on every inhabitant of those countries. As a matter of course, all people living in Australia areput on file, kept up with and labeled.

"Peter Sawyer discovered also that the president of the ROCKEFELLER FOUNDATION came for alengthy stay in Australia to supervise in person the construction of 20 luxury residences in Canberra (the

Australian government footed the bill), in the wonderful setting of a National Park, where, legally, nobody isallowed to build.

"The investigations lead by Sawyer exposed, first, that the new Parliament building is meant toaccommodate the world government-to-be; and, second, that the 20 luxury residences will be allocated to

the different foreign members of that government... Why choose Canberra as the headquarters of the newworld government? Simply because Australia is a peaceful country, with very few natives likely to turnrebellious, and, above all, it's an English speaking country. No other English speaking country can offer thesafety Australia will provide at the time of the taking over by the World Government. "Australia is thus the ideal place for such an undertaking. How is the advent of a World Governmentpossible in the near future? It is relatively easy, as we will explain.

The people involved arethe same people who cause the price of oil to go up and then, after convincing European neighbors to agreeto these price rises, provide that the yield coming from the price rises will be paid to the 'International ReserveBank', which is entirely at their command. The Reserve Bank hands the money over to a 'holding bank' wholavishly loans the money to Third World countries for usurious rates of interest.

"The holding bank receives the interest paid by the underdeveloped countries, then puts it into another

'holding bank' which, in turn, invests the huge quantity of money on behalf of the Arabs.

"Those investments are made into thriving large businesses. In the meantime, only small interests are sent toArab countries. "Those who engineered the plan were perfectly aware that the leaders of theunderdeveloped countries would be tempted to pocket a good part of the received money.

"I IRB will then tell the Arab countries that the holding bank investments have turned out badly, all theirassets had vanished and that no interest will be paid any more. The Arab countries will then have no choicebut to put all the securities they own on the market, as well as quite an amount of property bought by thesecond holding bank. A good part of these possessions will then be frozen, because they will have beenbought with the aid of not entirely repaid loans, and they will be part of the assets of the first holding bank,

gone bankrupt. The incredible quantity of shares put on the market at the same time will cause a stockmarket crash of such magnitude that all the national economies of the West will collapse at the same time.

"The planet will find itself in a desperate predicament. Cash will not be worth a damn, and the risks of aglobal confrontation (planned!) will be high.
