Principal's Message
Hi everyone,
As Term 3 begins to wind down it is important to reflect on the growth that our students have made so far this year. It has been clearly evident to every member
of staff that besides academic growth, many of our students are making choices
both in the yard and in the class that are having a positive impact on their learning. The wellbeing of a child always needs to be priority number one. When students are happy, feel valued and have a sense of belonging it has a huge
impact on their ability to focus and engage in their learning.
The Read, Write Inc. program is in full swing. Staff are already seeing the effect on student learning outcomes. We are excited to track the student's data over the
next Term and feed back to you the growth that the students have made. We are encouraging everyone to come along to our info night on Tuesday 15th October
starting at 6:00pm.
Finally, I would like to share with you a very special moment from our assembly today. Clyden and Barry performed their very first Acknowledgment of Country. This was a very special moment for everyone. Have a great holiday.

Sports Day The Napperby Primary School Sports Day was held in Week 7 in
perfect weather conditions. All students competed in the right spirit and sportsmanship was demonstrated by every team. There was a great crowd of parents, friends and family that came along to support the students. At the end of the day the winning house was Pirie, which was their f irst win in many years. Congratulations to all students, staff and members of our community who participated in the day.

The Leader's Loop
Hi everyone,
This term has been fun and exciting.
Here are some highlights from this Term.
Gymnastics was great fun and enjoyed by all the students. We would like to thank Coach Keli and Coach Mel for teaching us a range of gymnastics skills. We would also like to thank Froggy who drove us there every week when we needed a driver, Pam for doing the organisation and our teachers and SSOs who took us there.
Sports Day was a fun and exciting day for all students and their families to enjoy. Some of the highlight of the day included the sprints, parent races and Pirie winning the shield.
Last week the Upper and Middle Primary classes visited the Northern Festival Centre to watch a performance of Freaky Friday by The Port Pirie Youth Theatre. We were super proud of two of the cast members who are students at our school, Natasha Sadedin and Rex Nicholls. THEY WERE AWESOME!
Pink Day was held today and was fun. It was to raise money for The McGrath Foundation. Everyone was encouraged to wear pink. Mr Jeffries wore his favourite tutu and coloured his hair and beard unicorn pink. We had a hotdog, finger bun and fruit box fundraiser which was delicious.
It is getting hot so remember to bring your hats next Term.
Have a great holiday.
