From The Editorial Desk:

As Lord Tennyson says ‘Old order changeth yielding to the new’. Change is the essence of life. Change replaces the old. Change announces the advent of the new. Change is omnipresent. Change is powerful. Change is the only permanent thing in our lives. India is changing. The world is changing. Our school is changing. We are changing.

The 2nd term has been eventful. From the debates and elocutions to the swimming and basketball, we’ve had it all. Our school has really shown its mettle and character in such activities. We have done well in 3 of the 5 calendar debates. TheInter-House Hindi and English elocutions were also a great success.

The Inter-House swimming meet saw new heights scaled and records broken. It was heartening to see young students, swim with such panache and confidence. The basketball tournament, too was a success. T.I.M.E group brought in the Aqua Regia Science Quiz. The competitive Examinations held were also successful. The TCS IT Wiz, the Wimbledon of all IT quizzes in the country was a heart breaking affair as our team consisting of Rohan Jhunjha and Saptarshi Majumdar missed qualification by just one point.

But perhaps, the highlight of the term was the ‘Joy Of Giving Week’ and the ‘Donate A Brick’ initiative associated with it. It was basically a 10th standard initiative for collecting funds to help Dr. Graham Homes School, Kalimpong.

Strangely enough though, we are actually curtailing ourselves, in writing this editorial. It was a term packed with activities, curricular co-curricular and athletics. The school has given wonderful opportunities to develop ourselves and improve our skills in public speaking, dramatics and singing. The qualities of sportsmanship and leadership have been inculcated within us as we blossom in to wholesome individuals.

Our sincere thanks, to the entire management; each and every staff member, estate management members and all the other nurturing hands that have helped us to blossom.

May the sun shine brightly over our school for decades to come!!!

Sincere Thanks,

The Editorial Team
