Hi My name is squirt and I am a

Tundra Swan. I live in here with a

bunch of my brothers and sister,

cousins, neighbors, and friends. I

am seven years old and, am going

in to the second grade. I can't

wait! I’m like a little kid in a candy

store. I'm finally old enough to go

to school on my own for once.

“Squirt it's time to go to

school. Come on down and

get ready to leave!” says

Mrs. Green

LALALALALALALA”SWOOP” Hello there, little guy I

think I'll take that. I can do whatever I want, and there is

nothing you can do about it.” says the Big Bad Mute Swan.

“But I need that for lunch. What am I going to eat please

don't take my lunch from me? You already take all the food

from us you eat 8 pounds of food a day.” says Squirt “I am

bigger, badder, and better than you. There’s nothing you

can do about it. I'm the wolf and you're like one of the three

little pigs.

Squirt swims away from the Big Bad

Mute swan and goes to school.

Squirt shows up to school frazzled.

He sinks into his seat like a rock “Squirt are you alright what's

wrong?” Says Mrs. Fitzgerald “Yeah I'm fine nothings wrong” says

Squirt

It is lunchtime and squirt is swimming all alone

in the pond because he has no lunch money.

“Squirt honey do you have any money for

lunch?” says Mrs. Fitzgerald “NO, I don't I forgot it at home” Says Squirt “ Well if this happens again I will have to call

you parents for a conference” says Mrs. Fitz-

gerald “OK I'll make sure that I bring it tomorrow”

Squirt is nervous to leave the house the next day. “Swoosh” Before squirt could look to see if he was being

followed, by the Big Bad Mute Swan was in front of

Squirt. “Give it up, lets see the money.” says the Big Bad

Mute Swan “Don't you think people are not going to notice that I

don't have my lunch money.” says squirt

“I've done this for a lot longer than you

think little boy I've not got caught yet

what makes you think you'll be any differ-

ent.” says the Mute Swan

“Because I've got a teacher that cares.”

says Squirt

Squirt gives the money to the mute swan

and goes on his way.

Squirt sees his teacher motion him over

to her. “ Squirt how ya doing did ya

bring ya lunch money today?” says

Mrs. Fitzgerald “OOPPPS I forgot it again I promise I'll

bring it tomorrow just don't call my par-

ents please don't.” says Squirt

“ I'm sorry squirt I have to there is no excuse

for showing up to school without money for

lunch. It's very important to get your three

meals in a day. I'm calling your parents this

morning and having them come in today af-

ter school is over.” says Mrs. Fitzgerald Squirt fears the worst what is he going to tell

his parents. Is he going to have to lie and

make up a story or just tell the truth and get

“Hi Mrs. and Mr. Green how are you today on this beautiful afternoon”. says Mrs.

Fitzgerald “Good, what seems to be the problem our little squirt didn't get himself in trouble

“No that's not it at all it's actually the complete opposite.” says Mrs. Fitzgerald “Then what's the problem?” says Mr. Green “Well the first couple of days of school your son has shown up without any money

for lunch and I began to worry.” says Mrs.Fitzgerald “Well we send him money every day enough so he can eat healthy. Honey where

has the money been going, Squirt.” says Mrs. Green

“ UMMMMM I …. I don't want to talk about it but the big bad mute swan has

been stealing my money. He steals all the other food and even sometimes destroys

the food in the common part of the pond. He even told me that he has done this to

other kids and keeps getting away with it.”

“ I knew he was still too young to find his way to school by himself.” says Mrs.

Green “That's not the problem at all he is old enough it's that mute swan.” says Mr. Green “We will take it from here thanks for telling us what was happening.” Mrs. Green

Squirt and his parents start swimming to school. Squirts parents went to stop the

big bad mute swan from taking squirts lunch money. But squirts parents did not

seem to change anything the big bad mute swan still came to take the money

“Who's this” Said the Big Bad Mute “We're squirt's parents we are here to stop you from tak-

ing his money. Aren't you tired of taking all the food from

all the other swans already do you really need his mon-

ey?” said Squirts parents. “ Not to mention messing up all the other plants that other

animals eat when you're eating.” says Mr. Green “I do not care I only care about myself.” says the Big Bad

Mute Swan

“The water flow is even being messed up

from your destruction. When the Big Bad

Mute swan destroys the food he doesn’t

eat the water flow becomes faster because

there is no more plants to slow the water

down.” says Mrs. Green “We have a choice for to make. You either

quit bullying all the little kids in the pond

and hurting the environment with the

choices you've been making lately. Or you

can leave this pond and never come back

to this pond again.”

“ Ok let me think about this for a while.” says the

Big Bad Mute Swan “No you choose now or leave!” Says Squirts par-

ents. “Alright I guess I'll stay and be nice to the other

swans. I will stop eating up all the food and de-

stroying all other plants that I don't eat. That will

help with the water flow problem. I will be a bully

no more.” says the Mute Swan

Squirt is on his way to school and he passes the mute

swan. “Hey Mute Swan how is it going?” says squirt “Good it’s much better. I actually have friends now

thanks to you.” says the mute swan

They all lived happily ever after in the pond.

The Big Bad Mute Swan was no more.
