does unity happen? I believe the key is found in verse 2 (highlighted) which focuses on a humble attitude. In our humility and patience of one another, we found our unity. There are three important issues I want to bring to your attention: 1) Reminder about the change in our service times. Beginning on August 24, we will have only one service, at 10:30 am. The first service will not be offered in the fall. We have room for all of us to be in one service and we want to come together and worship as “one church.” Please contact me if you have any questions or feedback. 2) Vacation Bible School is
July 14-18. Please pray for this vital ministry to our kids and to the children in the Chapin community. 3) There are many ques-tions about the recent decisions made by the PCUSA denomina-tion. We are in the PCA which is a different denomination. I am including a website to help you understand some of the vital differences between us and them.

I hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer. I hope to see you on Sunday! —Dan
“Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one an-other in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.” —Ephesians 4:1-6
A great passage of Scripture about the importance of the unity of the body of Christ. How

ALL IN THE FAMILY
To my dear church family, you share love so beautifully and my family and I have been the recipients since my daughter's passing, and I do thank you!
For the Moveable Feast ladies, we will brunch at Liberty on Marina Road on July 13. I will need to make a
reservation, so please let me know if you can make it; hope you can. For anybody who hasn't joined us, please do. It’s a nice group of ladies of all ages enjoying Sunday brunch together each month, and the party would be
much better with you! Sign up on the table in the Bell Tower Foyer or email me ([email protected]) or Mikki Spigner ([email protected]).
See you Sunday! Love, Helen
