Day 1 Depart USA Depart Boston, MA for Italy. Meals andrefreshments served on board.Day 2 Arrive Rome, Italy/Sorrento Upon arrival proceed tobaggage claim. After clearing customs, you will be met by our TourDirector and transferred to your hotel in Sorrento, an attractiveseaside town at the center of the Amalfi Coast. In the afternoon,enjoy a walking orientation tour of Sorrento. Dinner and overnightat the hotel. (D)Day 3 Sorrento - Tour of Amalfi Coast This morning, leaveSorrento for a full day of sightseeing on the Amalfi Coast. Brief stopat the Sorrento Belvedere to enjoy a unique view of Moorisharchitecture blended with pastel colored houses and to takepictures of this unforgettable site. Then continue to Amalfi for awalking tour of the old village and finally reach Ravello. Enjoy lunchon your own at a restaurant with spectacular views of the AmalfiCoast and the Bay of Salerno. Enjoy time for a stroll around thecenter of town before returning to Sorrento. Overnight at the hotel.(B)Day 4 Sorrento Full day at leisure or take an optional tour to Capri.Weather permitting, a morning jetfoil whisks you across the blueBay of Naples to the fabled Isle of Capri. Upon arrival we will driveto Anacapri where you will have free time for shopping beforeheading to Capri. You will ascend to the Piazzetta and visit theFloral Gardens of Caesar Augustus. During medieval times the town’s medical schoolwas among the most advanced. In recent history, Salerno was thesite of the Allied landing in September 1942. Continue toPaestum, one of the best collections of Greek temples in WesternEurope, and see the 2000 year old Doric Temples. Next, visit a“Mozzarella di Bufala” factory to learn about the Mozzarellamaking process, and to sample some of it.
