For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, and last of all he appeared to me. (1Corinthians 15:3-8) Dear All Saints’ family and friends, Very soon we will come together to celebrate Easter. This past winter has been long and cold and the beginning of spring hasn’t brought much relief. In a way I am glad we didn’t have an early spring as the weather has forced me to remain inside to ponder my inner spiritual life without the distractions that outdoor activities usually bring. I pray that your Lent has a productive season of digging deep into the wonders of God and has drawn you closer in your relationship to Him. The good news is that Easter is coming and we will celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord with hope, joy and enthusiasm. Are you ready for Easter? I mean “ready” in the sense that your heart is prepared to celebrate the greatest event in all of history–the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It’s not too late. Lent is not over and even more so we at All Saints’ are preparing services every day in Holy Week leading up to Easter. Someone once said that the only road to Easter is through the cross. We will begin that journey on Palm Sunday April, 17 th . Our journey continues with services on Monday and Tuesday evenings at 7:00 where we will conclude our Wednesday night Lenten study by explaining and experiencing how our prayer book liturgies have changed over the years. On Wednesday (time to be determined) we will gather for our traditional Seder dinner to see how Jesus celebrated the Passover with his disciples. (If you would like to attend we need an accurate count so please either sign up at the church or call the office). Thursday we begin what is know as the Triduum, or three days of the passion. On Maundy Thursday we remember Jesus’ last night with his disciples giving them the New Commandment to love one another. The service concludes with the stripping of the altar as we watch with Christ on Good Friday. Good Friday services are at 3:00 and 7:30. We begin our Easter celebration on Holy Saturday with the Great Vigil of Easter at 7:30. Here we listen to the stories of God’s deliverance from the Old Testament, renew our baptismal promises, and celebrate the first Eucharist of Easter. I urge everyone to partake in as many of these services as possible and if you do, Easter will be more glorious than you could ask or imagine. See you in Church, Fr. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according

to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles,

and last of all he appeared to me. (1Corinthians 15:3-8)

Dear All Saints’ family and friends,

Very soon we will come together to celebrate Easter.

We will begin that journey on Palm Sunday April, 17th.

See you in Church,

Grace. Thanks to everyone for contributing their time, stuff and money to the effort. Oswald Chambers points out regarding our tithe, “The giving of the tenth is not a sign that all belongs to God, but a sign that the tenth belongs to God and the rest is ours, and we are held responsible for what we do with it.” I encourage all of us to go to God first in

It is amazing what God's people can do when they put their hands together to do his work. The World Vision 30 Hour Famine is a perfect example of that. Through the amazing efforts of our Youth for Truth and the generosity of our church family we were able to touch folks around the world and in our own backyard with God's awesome Love and

everything we do; the Holy Spirit will help us discern the correct places to put the precious resources He has given us responsibility over. God Bless. Mark Bradshaw

Stewardship Corner

The Evergreen program is well underway. The letter writers recently attended a training session and are writing letters as we speak. Please keep these writers and our stewardship program in your prayers these coming couple of weeks. The parish family will receive their personal letters the week of April 10th. We will have our special ingathering of pledges on Sunday April 17th, Palm Sunday. Thank you all so very much for your support of this program. For the Stewardship Committee, David Waite

Meanwhile, as an old African

see dangerous behavior in

address it immediately. The

Thank you.

Recently, on two separate

occasions, young children

were almost hit by passing

cars in our parking lot. They

were darting in between

parked cars. This must stop.

Parents of children under

high school age please talk to

your children. Have your

children walk in the
