Talk with the Thomases

Greetings from the Thomas family:

We extend a warm and sunny Aloha from our little paradise at the Lighthouse! We feel so blessed to have a growing team of children and teachers as we gear up for a great summer ahead. Thank you for being a part of our growing family!

Our website video showcased some precious moments of our school children learning through play. We greatly appreciate your positive feedback on our video and your invaluable support through referrals and reviews.

We are very excited about our upcoming Grand Opening celebration on Saturday, August 5th from 10:00 a.m- 1 p.m. We are partnering with the MouseDreams Foundation at this event to raise funds to sponsor a child with long term pediatric illness and family for a vacation to Disney World. We hope that the magic and happiness of Disney helps provide lasting memories for this family.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve our children & community! Hope everyone has a safe & happy 4th of July!

Curriculum Corner

We are continuing our eX-STREAM approach to learning

for the month of July. We will be working on the following

topics:

Rock Out with Geology—we will create Alphabet Rocks

this week to aid in letter recognition and identification

A-Mazing Me Anatomy—we will use red water beads and

white ping pong balls to demonstrate blood cells

Sticky, Icky, and Gross Chemistry—we will be painting

with plungers for a totally gross experience

Raiders of the Lost Art Archeology—

we will search for buried artifacts in

our dirt filled sensory tables

Join us on Saturday, August 5th from

10am to 1pm for our GRAND OPENING!

This event is open to the community and

free to attend. Invite your

family and friends!

We happily celebrated

Ms. Claudette’s June

birthday as a surprise with

cake, punch, and singing!

both inside and outside

the classroom!

Teacher Showcase

Ms. Sally is a Founding Teacher here

at Children’s Lighthouse. In fact,

she helped us unpack 1200 boxes of

furniture and supplies in early

March. Since then, she has taken

an active role in our preschool

program and our infant program

most recently. Where ever she is,

she is sure to bring her classroom

management skills with her.

She has earned a Master’s degree in

Social Work and has 20 years

experience working with children in

clinical settings.

When you see Ms. Sally in the halls,

be sure to say, “Hi!” and watch out

for her Baby Buggy.

Throughout the summer months, we continue to enrich

our curriculum with learning opportunities to promote

character values for the children and families we serve.

Referral Promotion:

Graciously we have been touring a

lot of families that have been

referred from our current

Children’s Lighthouse families—

and we couldn’t be happier! To

show our appreciation, we are

offering a referral promotion.

When a new family lists you as a

referral source and enrolls, after 90

days, you will receive a $100

tuition credit! For a short time,

you and the new member will also

be entered in a drawing to receive

a WEEK FREE of tuition for one

child. The drawing will take place

at our Grand Opening event on

Saturday, August 5th, 2017!

Founding Family Forum

As a way to show our appreciation to the families who

have put their trust in us, we are dedicating this space to

them. This month, we showcase the Ward family.
