Scripture speaks of a secret place where we can simply go, be alone,
be protected, pray,
and hear from
היהב YâHuWsHúa.
Knowing there is such a place is a matter of faith. Going back time
and again, that's a matter of building a relationship. You need not
have an advanced degree in any subject, need not have memorized
Scripture from beginning to end, but instead
be aware the
היהא
Of Y’Ishra’al
Has a place for each Jew and Gentile who will open their minds and
hearts to Him.
Mt 6:5-8
When you pray, you shall not be as the role-fakers, for they love to
stand and pray in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets,
that they may be seen by men. Most certainly, I tell you, they have
received their reward. But you, when you pray, enter into your inner
chamber, and having shut your door, pray to your Father Who is in
secret, and your Father Who sees in secret shall reward you openly.
In praying, don’t use vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do; for they
think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Therefore
don’t be like them, don't you see that your Father knows what things
you need before you ask Him.
The truth in reality is visited in this secret place AND must be
shared by those who will live or else ... they will perish ... in darkness.
It is written
Lu 11:33
“No one, when he has lit a Lamp, puts it in a cellar or under a basket,
but on a stand, that those who come in may see the Light.
Tehillim. 119:105
Your Word is a Lamp to my feet, and a Light (aur) for my path.
The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore when your eye is good, your whole
body is also full of Light; but when it is evil, your body also is full of
darkness. Therefore see whether the light that is in you isn’t
darkness. If therefore your whole body is full of Light, having no
part dark, it shall be wholly full of Light, as when the Lamp with its
bright shining gives you Light.”

Come out of the secret place bearing light!
Who see it from afar? The Secret Place, here, shines a bit of light
so many can see from afar. The topics we have chosen are addressed
to Jew and Gentile together. We do this because that is what the
Bible does. This opens the window to make more sense of what
Scripture tells us!
In the secret place is plain language, something simple to read. This
is a mere starting place for deeper consideration.

Dan_7:25 And it shall speak words opposing the Most High, and it will
wear down the pure ones of the Most High Ones, and it will try to
change set times (Festivals) and Law, (Lawlessness) and they shall be
granted into its hand for a time and times and half of a time. And then I will profess to them,
‘Never did I acknowledge you: even if you are on My lap and do not do
the will of My Father Who is in heaven, out of My lap will I cast you
away! Depart from Me, all ye workers of Lawlessness!’ So that in them is fulfilled the prediction of Yshá`Yâhuw, which
says: “You shall surely hear, but you shall not understand; and you
shall surely see, but you shall not perceive! For the heart of this
people has grown thick, and they do hardly hear with the ears, and
they have shut their eyes, lest they should see with their eyes, and
with their ears they should hear, and their heart should understand,
and they should return to Me and I should cure them.
False worshippers of the

Dev 4:19.

Translated it reads
Duet 4:19
"or lest you lift up your eyes to the heavens and see the sun, the
moon, the stars, and all the armies of heaven, you should be
impelled to bow down to them or enslave yourselves to these

Anyone can see the heavenly bodies, but we have heard from
היהא
There is no “hard copy” of Him! People want something they can
identify with, which is what makes the “god-man” concept so
attractive, because it makes them think they can be gods too. We
can only understand what
היהא
Allows us to know about Himself, and we cannot control what we
cannot comprehend. Apportioned: divided, assigned, distributed;
Aramaic, "designated to serve". I.e., He gave them to all the nations
and they are common (contrast v. 20).
But none of them is to be identified specifically with

"But
היהא
has selected you, and brought you out from the crucible of iron--from Egypt--to
become His own--for the purpose of being a people [that are His own] prized
possession, just as [is the case] today."
Any wood placed into a furnace for smelting iron would be
consumed immediately. Egypt completely used them up, while feeding
them—like pack animals. Even the products forged of iron there—
chariots—were used to kill them. Now they were going to a place
that would serve them rather than consuming them. Nothing in the
Tabernacle was made of iron;
היהא
Had no use for it at this point. Prized possession: How awesome!
Why throw away such a rare privilege and settle for something that
the nations all stoop to--nations that He considered a mere drop in
the bucket in comparison
Yeshayah40:15?
Surely the Goyim are like a drop in a bucket, and are accounted as
dust of the scales; surely He taketh up the iyim (islands) like fine

The Barley, Equinox; New Year
The reckoning of the
SCRIPTUAL CALENDAR 2015
Using the barley to determine the month of Abib
>Did you know that all barley is not the same?
I recently learned that one type of barley will mature in April of a
year and another type will not mature until the month of May these
are not genetically modified varieties; these are products of farming
seed selections that have been used by man for centuries.
How many types of barley are there?
There are more than six types of barley grown. Some seed types
that have been developed to grow better in a dry, desert
environment (Arizona, Yahudah, etc.) are shipped all over
the world.
When do different varieties head and when do they mature?
The earliest to harvest Barcott
Mixtures of four barley varieties were grown under low input
conditions at the Maricopa Agricultural Center. The barley varieties
seeded were Barcott, Solum, Solar, and an experimental low input
line designated Entry 9. The highest yields were not obtained with
mixtures in this experiment, but rather when the varieties were
grown alone. Barcott and Entry 9 decreased yield when part of the
mixture more than Solum or Solar. When Solum was grown in a
mixture rather than alone, test weight and lodging were improved,
but yield was decreased.
OBSERVATION:
in March, the Poco barley is not "in the head." A few plants at the
edge of the field were "in the boot," but the field was not "in the
boot."
DEFINITIONS:
"In the boot"
When the plant begins to open and hair like strands are coming out
of the top with partially visible undeveloped seed pods at the base of
the strands.
"In the head"
Means that the field is 80% headed.
"Maturity"
Physiological maturity is 1 to 2 weeks before harvest ripe stage.
COMMENTS:
For barley to be used for determining Abib, it should be at
"maturity" at the time of the new moon, so 14 days later would be
Passover and the barley would be ripe for the first fruit offering
that was done. In the event that the barley field was not totally
ripe, some could be picked, since roasting the seeds to dry them was
acceptable for an offering. Concerning the Passover first fruit
wave-sheaf offering, Josephus says (Ant., iii, 10,5) that the sheaf
was of barley, and that, until this ceremony had been performed, no
harvest work was to be done. So, the barley was harvest ready. If
barley is to be used for the first month determination, it must, at
the new moon, be yellow and beginning to dry out as in the
"Maturity"
Picture above; two weeks later, Passover, it would then be harvest
ready. Abib does not mean "green ear;" this incorrect translation has
caused much misunderstanding.
CHOOSE YOUR BARLEY
Poco
If a Poco type variety is used for determination of Abib, it will not
be "in the head," let alone "mature," by the new moon of March. This
will cause us to adjust the scriptural calendar thus making it void by
adding a 13th month to the Scriptural calendar this year.
Max - If a Max type variety is used for determination
of Abib, it will not be "mature" until April. This is way past the new
moon of April and would cause the need for a 14th month, which is
not done for many reasons; one of which is that Passover would be at
the end of May, almost in the summer!
Other varieties fall in-between. In another season, when the dates
will change, and perhaps earlier, observers of a Poco type variety
may not add a 13th month while observers of a Max type variety will
add a 13th month.
Is there an "original" barley variety?
According to a local barley farmer, if there is an "original" barley
variety, no one grows it; he is not aware of any "original" barley
seeds. He has been farming his whole life and is in his 70's;
Barley is his specialty.
Which barley would be used to determine the month Abib and
how?
The statement that someone "uses barley to determine the month
Abib
is an incomplete explanation.
Too many factors are still left to be explained:
Which variety of barley is being observed?
Was it planted at the proper time (not too early or
late) for proper growth?
What stage of development is being used for a reference?
a head on the edge of the field
just out of the "boot”?
80% of a field just out of the
"boot" ?
a head on the edge of the field
well out of the "boot" with no seeds in the
pods ?
80% of a field well out of the
"boot" with no seeds in the pods?
a head on the edge of the field
with seeds in the pods, but no yellowing of
the plant.
f.) 80% of a field with seeds in the
pods, but no yellowing of the plant.
g.) a head on the edge of the field
with seeds in the pods and yellowing of the
plant.
h.) 80% of a field with seeds in the
pods and yellowing of the plant.
All of the above methods and more, are currently being used by
different groups in their determination of the
month Abib.
(a House divided will fall)
These result in honest, sincere, dedicated believers doing the
Appointed times on different dates and in different months.
What about the barley in YahuwDah?
YahuwDah is a modern country, with modern farming techniques.
Farmers plant seed types that will be disease resistant, have an
increased yield and different harvest times. We receive barley
reports from YahuwDah. It is stated that the barley looked at in
YahuwDah is an ancient variety and is wild barley.
Harvested barley, as in the Scriptures, would be domesticated
barley, not wild barley; because wild barley does not have desirable
characteristics for making bread.
Has the domesticated barley in YahuwDah never been crossbred in
any way for disease resistance, yield, or speed of maturity? Was it
planted in an area where it would mature earlier due to that location?
Was the barley in the Biblical references planted in these same
areas or in areas that might result in later maturity?
If using barley, does it have to be in YahuwDah for determining the
first Biblical month?
The following Scriptures are used to support using barley to
determine the first month:
Shemot 9:29
So Moshe told him, "As I leave the city, I will spread forth the
palms of my hands to
היהא
and the noises will desist, and there will be no more 'hail', so that
you may know that the earth belongs to
היהא
Earth: worshipped by the "Egyptians" of today, who make it into
the goddess "Gaia".
Shemot 9:31
(Now the flax and barley had been destroyed, since the barley was
[advanced to] the stage of forming green ears, and the flax had
budded,
This stage of barley’s maturation is how the new moon of Aviv is
identified, and the New Year cannot be declared nor can Passover
come until this stage is reached. But in Egypt, the barley reaches
this stage about a month before it does in YahuwDah. So this may
be anywhere from two to six weeks before the first Passover. Flax
is what the priests’ garments were made of, so they lost one more
source of their religious practices.
(The flax and barley were destroyed, since the barley had headed
and the flax was in bloom.
But the wheat and the rye were not destroyed, because they had
not yet ripened.)
So Moshe left Pharaoh and went out of the city, and spread the
palms of his hands toward
היהא
and the thunderous noises and 'hail' ceased, and rain was not poured
out on the earth.
This event happened in Egypt. Egyptian barley on
Egyptian land with Egyptian weather. If conditions are to be
duplicated as close as possible, to the event >above, for determining
the first Biblical month; shouldn't the barley be checked >in Egypt
each year, where the event happened?
What about
Leviticus 23:9-14?
9. "And you shall not oppress a foreigner, because you know what it
feels like to be a foreigner, since you were foreigners in the land of
Egypt.
Foreigner: or sojourner, one traveling through who sees the Torah
being practiced and wants to know more.
Deut. 4:6
"So you must guard them and carry them out, because this [will be]
your wisdom and your perceptiveness as the [other] peoples who hear
of all these customs will see it, and say, 'this nation is just [one]
learned and intelligent people!'
What is meant to “wow” the world is not a lot of people in white
robes, but a people with understanding and wisdom. If “even a fool,
when he keeps silent will be thought to be wise”
Mishle. 17:28
Even a fool keeping silence is regarded as wise, As understanding,
when he closes his lips.
How much more will the one who follows these commands truly be
wise, not just look wise!
Yeshayahu 35:8
And there will be a high road and a pathway there, and it will be
called the "Way of Sacredness, and the defiled will not travel on it,
nor shall it be for them. Those who walk on the path, even [if they
are] fools, will not go astray.
If "even a fool, if he keeps silent, will be considered wise" then even
those of minimal intelligence will stay on track if they stay within the
guidelines
היהא has set up in His Torah--the "guard rails" and "lane markers" on this
highway.
Study them carefully so we can accomplish their intended result.
They are not meant to simply be done without learning their deeper
message. As we begin to do things to protect the commandments,
they will truly become ours. The more effort we put into guarding
them, the more important they will become to us. Wisdom: witty
skill.
A hallmark of Avraham and his children is hospitality. In the
desert, one is likely to die without it, and we must not “gouge” those
who truly need our help. This applies to anyone who is in our land,
unless he has come to rob you. Remove anyone from immediate
danger, and do not deny them a place among us if they want to live
the way we do.
10. "And for six years you shall sow your land and gather its produce,
The Land must not be oppressed either by being asked to produce
every year. It needs rest too:
11. "But the seventh, you shall let it rest and lie fallow, and the needy
among your people may eat, and what is left over from them, the
living creatures of the field shall eat. You shall do the same to your
vineyard and olive grove.
Alt., "allow it to relax and withdraw (your hand), leaving it
untended". Normally the poor are allowed to eat the deliberate
remnants left on the edges of the field, but in the sabbatical year
they may eat the choicest of the crops. It is in essence not one's
own during that year. The owner too may eat what grows by itself,
but may not harvest more than is immediately needed. We would
expect everyone in Y’ishra’al to rejoice in having this year-long
respite and an occasion to catch up on study, especially of the Torah,
but it was not practiced the first time around, assumedly because
people simply could not believe that
היהא Would keep His word. However, if the people have been righteous,
the sixth year would have produced an abundance like the manna on
the sixth day, so they would not even depend on these “volunteer
crops”. This, just like the first Sabbath the manna did not appear
(16:4), is a test of what we really believe. Staying busy also lets us
avoid our brothers and sisters, and the scrutiny of our own hearts;
this therefore gives an occasion for an extended Yom Kippur (in
which we pay attention to our souls rather than our bodies) as well.
It is a time to leave behind all that we were and focus on who we are
to become.
12. "You shall do your work for six days, but on the seventh day you
shall desist, so that your ox and your donkey make have a break, and
the son of your handmaid and the foreigner among you may be
refreshed.
Since stated in these terms, the sons of one’s handmaid is,
probably the child of a temporary marriage such as spoken of in 21:4,
and thus is fatherless as well, having had a father who was freed
from his servitude but a mother who was not. He is therefore on
two counts one of the weakest members of society. The emphasis
changes from the year to the week, but the pattern remains the
same. Desist: If we cannot stop when
היהא
Says to stop, how will He trust us to move forward when He says
“go”? Refreshed: based on the word for "breathed upon"
Yochanan 20:22
And related to the word for soul. There is a Hebrew tradition that
on the Sabbath one receives a second soul, and this text is its basis.
Such concern for the animals that work for us is unique to Torah
among ancient writings. It does not say "so that YOU may rest", but
if one's slaves and animals could rest, how much more their owner?
This rest refreshes and re-creates us.
13. "Now in all that I have said to you, be watchful, and do not
mention another Äluahiym by name; it shall not be heard [coming]
from your mouth.
Another Äluahiym: Aramaic, "the abominations of the nations".
This is not as easy as one might imagine. In English, we are naming
pagan Äluahiym more often than we realize it. The days of our week
are named after Roman gods, and the concepts of fate, destiny,
chance, luck, fortune, and even the word “good”, all stem from not
only the names but the ideas of pagan deities. We think of the name
"God", as only a translation, but it sounds exactly like "Gad", the god
of "fortune" (Yeshayahu 65:11 in Hebrew), so use of this term is at
best questionable, since it did refer to a pagan deity whose name is
meant to be obliterated. (This does not apply to the tribal name
Gad, which is never used in the context of a deity. It also does not
mean we cannot read aloud the names of other deities if they appear
in the Scripture, but the idea is to distance oneself as far as
possible from anything having to do with the idol.)
היהא Has revealed His name; why must we use substitutes if we are
careful only to use His name in the most reverential manner?
14. "Three times a year you shall celebrate a feast unto Me.
Celebrate: literally, "dance in a circle". The cycle is the repetition
of the feast each year, and the word for “year” itself is based on
"folding over" or "duplication". (See note on 12:14.) As in a spiral
notebook, the cycles keep us coming back to the same plane, but also
keep us moving forward or upward. The word for times" here is
really "feet" or “legs” (regalim) or "paces", thus literally, "three feet
". Why feet? Because the men are to walk to Yerushalayim for a
pilgrimage at these times. A stool with three feet is the most stable
available, even if one of the legs is shorter than the others.
Yeshayahu 52:6 raves about "How beautiful upon the mountains are
the feet of the one who brings glad news." Nahum 1:15 repeats this,
then immediately ties the feet to the feasts: "O Judah, keep your
solemn feasts, perform your vows." Feet and mountains are again
linked in Yeshayahu 58:13-14... "If you turn your foot away from ...
doing your own pleasure on my Sacred day; and call the Sabbath a
delight, the Sacred [day] of
היהא
, honourable... then... I will cause you to ride upon the heights of the
earth, and feed you with the heritage of Ya’aqóv your ancestor."
Passover (Heb, Pesakh) comes from a root meaning "to skip" (also
related to feet), since the death angel "skipped over" the houses
with the blood on them (ch. 12). So keeping these feasts is an
integral part of the "glad news". In Romans 10:15, when Paul quotes
Yeshay. 52:6, we derive additional insight from the Greek text: "How
beautiful" means "belonging to the right hour or season"--the
festivals, which in Hebrew are called "set times" or "appointments"
(v. 15). In the conceptual ‘Âthâ´m Qadmon, a "man" who symbolizes
the repair and reconstruction of the shattered image of
היהא that the first ‘Âthâ´m lost, its feet are the part of the body that is
called the Kingdom (malkhut). The linking of the feasts with feet
begs the question, "You have stood up; now where will you walk?" This section of Scripture is not discussing how to determine the
first month of the year. It is not saying to use barley to determine
the season, appointed times,
Bber 1:14
Lev. 23:9-14
is saying not to harvest until you first take a sheaf and make a first
fruit offering. Notice also the last verse: "This is to be a lasting
ordinance for the generations to come
What about the equinox method of determining the first month of
the Biblical year?
This method defines the first Biblical month to begin with the first
new moon after the spring (vernal) equinox.
The spring equinox is that moment when the sun passes
directly overhead the earth's equator. It is called the equinox,
because on that day at the equator, day and night are of equal
length. It is called spring equinox, because this event ends winter
and brings the spring season (warmer weather) to the hemisphere
that the sun is entering. Should the New Year start in the winter or
in the spring?
According to the book Karaite’s in Byzantium by Zvi Ankori, the
Karaite’s in Babylon did not use barley to determine the first month;
but they used the vernal equinox. I believe that
היהא
gave us a method that allowed people anywhere on the earth keep
the festivals and know the first month through all these centuries
without any knowledge about barley from YahuwDah or Egypt.
This method has been known and used for well over 2500
years. It also provided a method used for centuries around the world
when electricity and phones did not exist to contact
YahuwDah or Egypt. Was it wrong then? Can we choose to use
it instead of barley and not be in sin? Some claim that using the
equinox method is Astrology, which is pagan. Observing the sun
passing overhead the equator is
Astronomy not Astrology.
היהא would not tell us to do something that is sin, and he did say;
Bber 1:14
And
היהא said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the
day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons
(appointed times) and days and years...
There are many arguments for and against this method; however, its
use would result in believers doing the Appointed times on the same
dates, allowing planning, and bringing unity among the brethren.
Fellowship at these times would greatly increase also.
Serve as signs

Shemot 9:31 The flax and barley were destroyed, since the barley had headed and
the flax was in bloom.
Shemot 9:32
The wheat and spelt, however, were not destroyed, because they
ripen later.)
"BECAUSE THEY RIPEN LATER"
is what is says, meaning flax are barley were destroyed because they
were currently ripe.
So the barely and flax were ripe!
This means the barley was at least at the "maturity" stage, which is
yellow and brittle. Imagine what hail would do to brittle barley
plants. The seeds would fall to the ground making harvest of them
an impossible task.
The above pictures show very green fields of barley. None of the
plants are even near "maturity" where they would be yellow and
brittle. .
Some groups in YahuwDah has report that they find "Abib" barley in
several places in YahuwDah.
Was this an early developing variety of barley?
Is it the same variety of barley that was destroyed by the hail in
Egypt in
Shemot 9:31?
Was the barley in early in the head or late in the head? This event
in Shemot happened in Egypt.
Egyptian barley on Egyptian land with Egyptian weather.
If conditions are to be duplicated as close as possible, for
determining the first Biblical month, shouldn't the barley be
checked in Egypt each year, where the event happened?
So many variables! So many opinions!
The first new moon after the spring equinox would not have these
variables. Perhaps that is why
היהא Gave us His Calendar

Where does it say that he gave us barley to determine seasons
