Give your child the chance to have the Best Summer Ever at our camp this year. Kids and teens will have adventure, learn a variety of skills, make lasting friendships, and experience lessons that will stay with them forever. Boys and girls will have fun all summer long in our Day Camp and Specialty Camp programs while the teens have the option to be in our Adventure Day Camp program.

All of our programs are supervised by our highly trained and kind staff. All staff are CPR and First Aid trained and certified, and many of the counselors also work with the children in our licensed before and after school Y-Works program.

ABOUT CAMP WEBBERSince 1952, Camp G. Peirce Webber has been providing youth with outstanding programs that have built friendships and created memories that last a lifetime. Camp Webber sits on 55 beautiful acres in Hampden on the Souadabscook Stream with sport fields, a playground, ropes course, an in-ground pool, hiking trails, and our 300 foot zip line.

6:30 – 7:00am (vans leave at 7:10am). Limited spots available. $20.00 per week. 7:00am – 7:45am

All campers will be PICKED UP AT CPW between 4:45 - 5:30pm. If your camper is involved in evening activities at our Y, please let us know when you register.

Our camp programs run from 8:00am - 4:45pm. If campers will be late or need to be picked up prior to 4:45pm, please call the camp office to make arrangements.

DAY CAMPJUNE 24 – AUGUST 23, 2019Our traditional day camp program is for youth entering Kindergarten through 6th Grade looking to fill their weeks with different fun activities in a safe environment. Kids will engage in activities such as Sports, Swimming, Archery, Zip Lining, and will have fun with weekly themed activities.

Adventure Day Camp is for youth entering 6th through 10th Grade who love camp, spending time with their friends, and are looking for some more adventure! This Camp is designed to give campers a new and exciting experience outside of Camp G. Peirce Webber, giving them the opportunity to meet new friends and build relationships while exploring what our beautiful state of Maine has to offer. Campers will start their day at Camp G. Peirce Webber with their group and will often attend opening ceremonies before leaving at 9am for the day’s adventure. Time will be spent exploring the outdoors, hiking, swimming, visiting The Bangor Region YMCA Wilderness Center at Camp Jordan, as well as having one day each week be an educational or volunteer day.

SPECIALTY CAMPS

Our Specialty Camps are for youth entering 4th through 6th Grade who want an opportunity to focus on learning specific skills. Campers can choose from archery, building, or art. They’ll spend half of their day focused on learning the specialty and the other half of the day in our Day Camp program.

CAMP G. PEIRCE WEBBERINCOME-BASED CAMP SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMThe Bangor Region YMCA is a charitable, non-profit organization, whose mission is to be a community leader in supporting children, adults and families in their lifelong quest for physical, emotional and social wellness. The Bangor Region YMCA and its Board of Directors feels strongly that the YMCA is for ev-eryone. No one will be turned away because of an inability to pay, subject to the availability of funds. The Bangor Region YMCA believes that a strong sense of ownership and pride is developed if the financial assistance recipient contributes to the cost of their YMCA involvement; therefore, applicants should be asked to pay an affordable portion of the camp fees.

HOW TO APPLYEach person requesting financial assistance, must complete a Scholarship Application and present a most recent tax return or statement of non-filing*. To process the application, membership staff will:

• Visually verify the Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) from the person’s tax return • Verify the member’s signature on the Scholarship Application• Complete the bottom of the Scholarship Application• Have a second Bangor Region YMCA staff verify that both of you have visually verified the applicant’s AGI and sign the bottom of the form• Return the tax information back to the person

The Scholarship Application will be attached to the Camper’s registration form. At no time should the Bangor Region YMCA retain or copy the applicant’s tax return for any Scholarship Application.

We appreciate COLE LAND TRANSPORTATION MUSEUM for their support of our Y! Stop by their Museum in Bangor; children 18 years old and under are always free!

CANCELLATION POLICY Our desire is to enable every child who wants to come to camp the opportunity to do so. Unfortunately, we fill our allotted camper spots early and have to implement a waiting list. Due to this popularity of our camp, we must enforce a strict cancellation policy. If you have to cancel your scheduled time at camp, in addition to our non-refundable deposit, you will be charged a cancellation fee based upon the following schedule:

1. Prior to 7 weeks before your scheduled camp week, your non-refundable deposit only is applied.

2. Six weeks prior to your scheduled camp week, you will be charged 25% of your balance.

3. Four and Five weeks prior to your scheduled camp week, you will be charged 50% of your balance.

4. Two or Three weeks prior to your scheduled camp week, you will be charged 75% of your balance.

5. One week prior to your scheduled camp week, you will be charged in full.
