COURSE INFORMATION
We are pleased to invite you to register for a comprehensive course in hepatology to be held at The Royal Free Hospital from the 17th to 19th of May 2017.
The aim of the course is to provide a strong foundation in hepatology on which current and future gastroenterologists and hepatologists can build to become specialists within the field.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
This three day course aims to provide:
• Clinically focused updates
• Comprehensive coverage of the pathogenesis, diagnosis, investigation and management of patients with acute and chronic liver disease
• Topics mapped to the (JRCPTB) curriculum in hepatology with learning outcomes that can be uploaded to the JRCPTB e-portfolio
• A deeper understanding of the basic science of liver disease
• Interactive teaching focusing on SCE style SBA questions and real cases
By the end of the course, you will be able to:
• Identify all areas of the JRCPTB curriculum in hepatology which have been covered within the course and apply them to your own clinical practice.
• Apply learnt knowledge to the Specialty Certificate Examination in Gastroenterology
• Contribute to the development of Hepatology services within your own hospitals
• Have a good breadth of knowledge of the science underpinning Hepatology research today.
