The Association of International Education Administrators is a member organization that engages leaders

to shape the future of higher education in a global context.

AIEA has been the only member association exclusively focused on leaders in international higher education for nearly 40 years.

Our members and conference participants are professionals who lead comprehensive internationalization at higher education

    institutions.

The AIEA Annual Conference brings together these decision-makers in an event that is focused and manageably-sized.

AIEA aims to provide an experience that demonstrates how your products and services provide solutions to

our members’ challenges and opportunities for strengthening their institutions’ goals.

Signature Events AIEA’s signature events are key ways of connecting with conference participants with high visibility and the opportunity to give brief remarks at full-conference events.

    Partner Featured Event

Two available A partner featured event gives a partner organization or company the opportunity to host a one to two-hour workshop, discussion, mini-conference or symposium, or other event for AIEA Conference Participants. Held at a time where there are no competing sessions (such as Tuesday or Wednesday morning or evening, or the Thursday after the conference), the event is included as a part of the conference schedule.

The content of this event is up to the partner organization - it is an opportunity for thought leadership, speakers, discussion, or other innovative material of interest to AIEA members. The title and description is also the organization’s choice.

This package also includes a one-hour Partner Day Spotlight Session on Monday. Partner Day is open to all conference participants, as well as others who would like to attend but do not register for the full conference. Spotlight Sessions are a full hour session with content provided by the organization.

The partner organization will also receive a list with contact information for all who attended the two events (for attendees who opt-in to their information being shared). Partner Feature Events packages put organizations at the Platinum level, and also include a wide range of other Platinum-level benefits including extensive branding, complementary memberships, conference registrations, a listing in the Virtual Resource Center, and pre-conference messaging.

    Plenary Panels and Keynotes

Four available AIEA is known for plenary keynotes and panels that are relevant, engaging, and address the conference theme from experts who bring different perspectives. The 2021 Conference will include four keynote plenaries (subject to change): Plenary 1: Future of Higher Education Panel Plenary 2: Entrepreneurship Ecosystems Plenary 3: Former UNESCO Director-General Madame Irina Bokova Plenary 4: Multilateralism/Unilateralism in Global Science

  • 4

Supporting Plenary Panels and Keynotes affords a high level of visibility, as they are full-conference events with no competing sessions and that typically draw a large audience. This package includes two minutes to address participants at one of these events -- either live via video, or with a pre-recorded video produced by your organization and provided to AIEA. The two minutes of content will also be included in the on-demand video of the keynote for participants to watch at a later date. The partner organization will also receive a list with contact information for all who attended the event (for attendees who opt-in to their information being shared). These packages put the organization at the Gold level and include a wide range of other Gold benefits including extensive branding, complementary memberships, conference registrations, and a listing in the Virtual Resource Center.

Thought Leadership Organizations looking to have a dedicated time to share data, practices, resources, and information about services with conference participants can take advantage of these opportunities, positioning organizations as thought leaders in the field.

    Partner Day Spotlight Sessions

    Multiple available

Organizations looking to have a dedicated time to share data, practices, resources, and information about services with conference participants can take advantage of Spotlight Sessions.

These hour-long sessions offer a platform to share in-depth content with AIEA conference participants. The sponsoring organization selects the content of the information session, including the presenters and topics that appeal to senior-level administrators at higher education institutions. These sponsored sessions are held during a dedicated time slot with no other full-conference events scheduled aside from other Spotlight Sessions or Spotlight Features.

Because these sessions are during Partner Day (February 15), they are open to both full-conference participants as well as those who are registering for the free Partner Day. Partner organizations are welcome to invite their networks to attend this session if desired.

The partner organization will also receive a list with contact information for all who attended the event (for attendees who opt-in to their information being shared).

    Partner Day Spotlight Features

Multiple available Spotlight Features are shorter versions of Spotlight Sessions that take place during Partner Day. Fifteen or 30-minute sessions are available. These sessions are held on Partner Day (February 15, 2021).

The partner organization will also receive a list with contact information for all who attended the event (for attendees who opt-in to their information being shared).
