PEOPLE EMPLOYED IN THE VENETO REGION AND IN ITALY: CONFRONTATION
EMPLOYED PEOPLE IN THE VENETO REGION AND IN ITALY: Comparison
- constant decline of the employed in the sectors of agriculture and fishing
- decrease of the occupation in the manufacturing sector (still higher than the national level);
- contraction in the textile-clothing and shoe ware sectors, while the mechanical sector and other industries showed an increase (partly balancing the loss of work places in the sectors above)
- increase in the building sector
- constant increase in the services sector, which however remains always inferior of about 8% points to the national average.
The detailed analysis indicates that employment (and its increase) concerns commerce,distribution, tourist-accommodation facilities and domestic services, while in more advanced sectors it remains limited: professional activities, informative technologies, education.
In tourist-accommodation services is double in comparison with professional activities, in domestic services equal to information technologies,in cleaning services 1.7 times higher than education
From the table: for the last 10 years similar trends for employment and number of active enterprises
