The Training ProviderWe engage and find a training provider whose role it is to assess the learner in their NVQ.

The training provider does all thee assessment of the learner and helps them complete and gain their NVQ qualification. The training provider is paid by the government to do this so the learner and the employer doesn’t have to pay a thing ( in most cases).

The training provider often has learners who have done a Foundation certificate (NVQ Level 1) in a particular subject and wants to get a job or an apprenticeship in order to get their level 2.

Where this is the case training providers can also be a source of apprenticeship candidates.

Sources of Apprentices

We only really want to work with apprentices who have gone through some pre-employment training already.

This is not a hard rule and it depends on the candidate but the young person is going to have to be ready for a full weeks work, getting up early, dealing with other staff, lateness, sickness, absences, and how to manage their in work behaviour.

Therefore at the moment we will be taking apprenticeship candidates referred from :TBG LearningThe BridgeJTLLocal colleges – Zaynab is liaising
