• Clothes made from woolen cloth or animal skins

• Women – dresses held together by brooches

• Men – Tunics with Leggings

Fighting the Romans

• The Romans had built forts along the coasts to keep out “sea-raiders”

• British paid Anglo Saxons to fight for them

• They build Hadrian’s wall to separate themselves
